Barclift, Nick - Mr. Barclift has now played a recurring character in the series for over several years now. Having first met our protagonist during his sophomore year in the Marks Tower Saga, Nick's wry sense of humor and vastly entertaining stories have made him a fan favorite amongst writers and drug-users alike. His aspirations are many, including making movies and becoming a physician. In the recent episode #7982, Nick finally achieved one of his lifelong dreams.....to defeat Eric in a game of Starcraft. A genius since birth, Mr. Barclift is often seen playing the character that steers our hero Eric in the right direction. No doubt we will see Mr. Barclift in many more future episodes of the show, be they virtual or real appearances.
Cano, George - Our hero first ran into this unusual character during his freshmen year at USC. Since then, Mr. Cano has played the role of roommate, X-Wing jockey, annoying pest, and more recently, giant robot pilot. Lending his engineering skills to the fray, George is probably most notable for his wacky attempts to fix broken contraptions on the show, which usually result in explosions of some sorts. There was originally some controversy in his introduction to the show, as many felt his Ecuadorean descent was used as a means to attract South American audiences. Nevertheless, few can dispute his impact on the show's popularity, seeing as episodes featuring Mr. Cano have consistently scored highly amongst Japanese teenage female audiences.

Chang, Jennifer - Unbeknownst to many, Ms. Chang's first appearance in the show actually occured early in the College Quadrilogy episodes. During Eric's interview at USC for the BMD program, Ms. Chang made a quick cameo appearance in the background of the luncheon setting in episode #6342. After that short stint, however, Ms. Chang was reallocated into the background once more during Eric's sophomore and early junior years, making short appearances only as "the quiet one". Nevertheless, Ms. Chang witnessed a rebirth in her voice acting career as she became Eric's ballroom dance partner and good friend in the early episodes of the Senior Saga. Her wealth of knowledge and dedication to Snoopy and Woodstock have made her a favorite amongst veterinarians and dog-lovers......despite her dislike of furry animals.
Chen, YiShaun - An old-timer in the show, Ms. Chen has been around since her initial appearance in episode #2435. However, her first significant role was in episode #3675 (Adventure at the Library Park), where she asked our protagonist to join her in a walk to the nearby book sale. A bold move, Ms. Chen. Since then, YiShaun has witnessed multiple misspellings of her first name, had her car hit by Eric, and followed Eric into USC, where she joined the USC rowing team as a cockswain. Yet all this time she has remained Eric's friend, and an interesting one at that. Rumors are circulating that the show's creators will have YiShaun shave her head to jumpstart ratings, but this is highly unlikely.
Do, Natalie - Beginning her career as the resident pharm friend, Natalie Do has blossomed into a well defined character in her own right. A pharmacy student at USC, she seeks Eric's friendship due to his natural good looks, superhuman intelligence, and thick head of hair. They soon became good friends, despite her departure from the series after her 2 years of undergraduate study had run out. Yet, having played only 2 seasons during the College Years, Ms. Do nevertheless continues to drop in on Eric's life, providing a much needed doses of warm friendship and sincere concern. Although she is right across the quad of the HSC, the two do not see each other as often as one would expect. Work and study is cited as the excuse. This will probably be remedied soon. Although her inclination to throw fireballs and lightning bolts at whatever she deems "uncool" has caused more than a few problems, Ms. Do always tries to protect her fellow friends in their time of need.

Cheung, Sisi - A recent addition to the show, Ms. Cheung plays the role of Eric's long lost sister. The exuberance she brings into the show is most clearly demonstrated in episode #7842, "The Other Shanghai-nese". Yet, Ms. Cheung's connection to our hero Eric is still not completely clear. Is she REALLY a long-lost relative? Or is she just pretending? Are her origins really from Shanghai? If so, what are her motivations for reviving this long-lost sibling rivalry? And why doesn't she like Totoro? What the heck is her problem? Nevertheless, recent polls suggest that Sisi will be around for a long time to come. Her soaring fanclubs on the internet, coupled with her rising popularity in bowling leagues across the nation, have ensured more future roles for this aspiring young voice actress.

Barry, Eddie - He who helped expedite the rise of Anime and the downfall of social life for yours truly. Mr. Barry was first briefly introduced as the oddball cousin of Eric's lifelong friend, Yvonne Lee, in season 17 of the series. However, his popularity and influence has ballooned since then, partly due to his cool round shades, partly due to his ability to disregard all reason upon whim. Mr. Barry's other claim to fame rests in his act of sucking our hero into the pit of anime fandom, and now he is lost to us forever......or is he? Though some may call him The Enemy for his actions, Mr. Barry has nonetheless gathered a respectable fan following, comprised mostly of middle-aged housewives and kendo masters. Yet, despite his attempts to quit the habit of anime himself, he has failed in this endeavor, and is doomed to suffer the same fate as our hero. Or is he?

Chou, Stanley - Originally scripted for the part of Eric's pet turtle, Mr. Chou has since then broken free of the restraints imposed upon him by the show's producers. Impressed by his ability to transcend the animal / human voice actor boundary, Mr. Chou was then cast as the courageous, but painfully vulnerable Ikari Shinji. On the surface, Mr. Chou also displays a remarkable array of abilities in addition to his robot-piloting skills. He plays the piano like the devil, he sings like the devil, and on occasion......IS the devil. His vacant stare has been known to draw hordes of non-believers to the show, hypnotizing them into becoming regular audience members. In the end, Mr. Chou has recently signed a contract that binds him to another four years of service in the show. What zany adventures and plot twists will he bring? Only time (and watching the show) will tell.

Chan, Michael (medium)- Boasting what could arguably be the strongest weapon in the show, Mr. Chan has thus far used it only for helping out his friends in need. Known in some fan-circles as "the Seeker of Lost Children", or "He Who Resembles Ned Flanders", Mike has become something of a silent, tragic hero during his time in the show. Thus, it was only prudent that he was cast as the forever-freaked-out Keichi Morisato. He is more loved by his peers than he will ever know, and yet he continually seeks to find the silver lining during all difficult times........plus, he has an atrociously contagious laugh. Currently, he seeks to get buff with our hero Eric and the ever-present Keitaro Urashima (voiced by the unremarkable Ean Wu). Note from the editor: the GPS tracker allows Mike to know the current whereabouts of all participants in the game, at any given time. Thus, he can move freely, evading and meeting his enemies/friends at his will.

| Chiu, Yvonne - Havingbeen in the show since the beginning of the Med School Saga, Ms. Chiu had been relegated to playing more background characters in the first year. However, nothing short of a planet-killing asteroid could have prevented this voice actress from breaking out into stardom, and her role as the chatterbox trouble-causing Tomo has seen much more on-screen time since the inception of Med II. Having a fear of computers, Ms. Chiu's character as been portrayed as a technophobe of some sorts. Feeling intimidated by the sheer processing power of te P4 Intel chip, Ms. Chiu feels her intellectual capabilities threatened, and has vowed not to use a computer again......except for AIM. The truth is, she's just incompetent. (the opinions of this profile may not necessarily be the opinions shared by the staff of the Eric Initiative, producers, associated shows and webmaster.
