A Brief History of the Insurrection
By LTCOL Senseman
Because of individuals such as Judas Iscariot, Guy Fawkes, Benedict Arnold, John Wilkes Booth, Whitaker Chambers, Robert Hanssen, and the "Red Spy Queen" Elizabeth Bentley vile treachery is not unknown to our world. The blood and tears shed in the dreadful labors of man have been undone by the hands of people most foul. Our institution has a history of trouncing the most violent of rebellions. In the middle ages the most honorable Order of Knights Decepticus [1], the predecessors of the Crusaders [2], crushed a rebellion of peasants led by the deplorable Barnestus Foedus. Rumor has it that the instigators of the Foedus clan were single-handedly slain by Emeratus Angelicus Maximus Imperialus Blanton, a warrior Protectorate and ancestor to Colonel Shane Anthony Blanton.
Because many of the Knights Decepticus were forced to return to their homes during the Dark Ages, the few that remained to hold together the order were forced to hire mercenary warriors to keep the world free of all evil. They called upon the leather neck Castillians, who were thriving in the time because their deplorable living conditions made them immune to the black plague. After the liberation of a Camp of Frenchmen out of the hands of Gonzales there was a dispute over logistics leading to a violent uprising of the Castillians against the Frenchmen and the Knights Decepticus. The rojo rydarians, the predecessor to all modern firearms, had an amazing tactical advantage over the medieval weapons of the knights. The Castillian Indonesian chief military advisor Kai-shek Pamudji, with knowledge of the strength of character of the Knights Decepticus, decided to lead in the allegiance of a group of Castillian mercenaries. Luckily for the knights, Kai-Shek, his loyal men, and an order of Decurion, friends to the Knights, engineered the first Treparachet, the predecessor of the modern Trebuchet. With the help of Kai-Shek, the fortress of the Insurrection, as it had come to be known, was decimated by the powerful siege weaponry. Kai-Shek Pamudji and his band of mercenaries were left without a directorate, so Kai-Shek decided it was best to help the world instead of being hired to destroy it. He formed a distinguished scientific institution and through his guidance a Castillian scientist known as Abraham Santa-Clara genetically engineered the Flos Trinitatis, the cure for the black plague. The Insurrection will always remain a lamentable memory in the history of the Knights Decepticus. The first Friday in the month of March has been set aside by the Cadre of Chamberlain-Hunt Academy to honor fallen comrades of the Knights Decepticus and their loyal Castillian brethrens in the course of The Insurrection.
