Steps to Becoming a Mason |

1. Anyone desiring to become a Mason must ask a Mason to recommend you. |
|
|
|
|
|
2. You must sign a petition stating your name, place of residence, and your occupation. |
|
|
|
3. The petition will then be turned in to the Lodge where the Masonic members will vote on you by secret ballot. |
|
|
|
4. The ballot must be unanimous for you to be accepted. |

Qualifications to be Accepted |
|
|
|
Belief in God, the Supreme Being, no matter what your religon is as long as you believe in God. Atheist can not become members. |
|
|
|
You must be of good moral standing. |
|
|
|
Masons also believe in respect for each other, their country and their world. The respect for each other is a undying friendship, no matter what job they hold, political background or geographical location. As a Mason you would be welcomed at thousands of lodges world wide. |
