Biographies TEDDI YAEGER (Playwright, Producer) has performed the roles of playwright, production manager, director, assistant-director, dramaturg, and stage manager at various Seattle theater companies since 1994, after graduating from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. Some of her favorite stints include: serving as Late Night Director at AHA!, where she managed the very popular series The Shadow and the comedy troupe Bald Faced Lie; and being the first Production Manager at Book-It Repertory Theatre, for their 1997-98 season. Teddi has studied playwrighting with Anthony Curry at the Northwest Actor’s Studio, and with Stuart Greenman and Kurt Beattie at Freehold Theatre Lab. Teddi placed as a finalist in the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts New Play Competition with Burt. She collaborated with director John Vreeke on a workshop of Burt (or When I Was Five I Killed Myself) at Book-It in 1998, and with director Susanna Wilson on productions at the Seattle Fringe Theatre Festival and at Theatre Babylon in 2001. WILSON (Director)
has directed for Wooden HOWARD BUTEN (Author of novel) has had seven novels published in France, the first of which, When I Was Five I Killed Myself, has become a modern classic in translation in France. It has also been published to wide acclaim in seven other European countries. As a clinical psychologist he is the founding clinical director of the Adam Shelton Center, a national institution for the treatment of autism in young adults. As a performing artist – Buten is also known as Buffo the clown – he has played theaters and opera houses around the world. In 1991, Howard Buten was named a Chevalier des Artes et Lettres, France’s highest literary honor. He divides his time between New York and Paris. BRIAN
CULVER (Burt) Brian
is delighted to reprise the role of Burt from the original workshop at
Book-It Repertory Theater and from the 2001 Seattle Fringe Theatre
Festival production. In
Seattle, he has appeared at On The Boards, JASON HEDDEN (Jeffrey, et al.) Jason relocated to Seattle last August from Tampa, Florida where he trained at the University of South Florida. During that time, he was directed by top British directors including: Bill Bryden CBE, Rachel Kavanaugh and Matthew Francis as part of the British International Theatre Program. At USF he originated the role of Richard Swiveller in an adaptation of Dickens' Old Curiosity Shop. Local credits include touring with Book-It Repertory in The Phantom Tollbooth and with Discovery Works in Journey Through Time. Other credits include Burt or When I was Five I Killed Myself with Elastic Productions in the 2001 Fringe Festival and Exchange Theatre’s inaugural production of Henry V in Kirkland. Jason has also worked as a teaching artist for Youth Theatre Northwest, ArtStar, Driftwood Players and Second Story Repertory (starting 2002). Special thanks to his wife and fellow actor Becky. STREGACK (Rudyard, et al.)
Howard Stregack is pleased to be working with Susanna Wilson for
the 3rd time. Seattle
appearances include Theater Schmeater, Annex, Seattle Public Theater,
Greenstage, and Freehold. His
solo show FOOLERY was a success at last year’s Fringe Festival.
Howard is a graduate of Ringling Bros. Clown College and is a
member of Jet City Improv. Love

WHITTEN (Sound
Designer) has been working in theatre here in Seattle for the
better part of a year now since moving from L.A. His last production
role was as ASM of Bridges inaugural show A Map of the World,
directed by Aaron Levin. Nat has sound designed numerous shows in
the past five years, and would like to thank everyone who has led him on
his journey in professional theatre. |
