In the wonderful world of words
I’d take them apart and jumble them up
What you’ll get is hard to tell
They’re the craziest stuff
That ever passed through a ear
And with this gift I put words to song
I’d delight at a turn
At the ivories
And tickle them ever so gently
A wide grin spreads across my face
As a lilting melody sails through the air
I am satisfied with
My song for the beauty of nature
I’d delight in a look out of the window
I’d look up into the azure sky
The scent of fresh grass is heaven
The bright sun smiles down upon earth
In the distance little brown sparrows dot the canvas
The great outdoors is picture perfect
I’d delight in speaking and writing
Sing praises of the landscape and horizon
And satellite that is the moon
My interests range far and wide
But my intelligences these few
I’m a linguist, musician and naturalist too
