Darling I Love You!
Get the group into a circle. Choose someone to start. The person starting need to turn to the person next to them and say, "Darling I love you, if you love me please smile" . The person must reply "Darling i do love you, but i cannot smile". The trick is that both persons are NOT allowed to smile or laugh. If they do, they are out and it moves onto the next person.
Mime Activities
Mirrors: Get the class into pairs. One person is A the other is B. A must mirror exactly what B does. After a few minutes get them to swap so B is mirroring exactly what A does.
What Are You Doing?: The students get into pairs. Student A mimes an activity (such as brushing their teeth). Student B asks "what are you doing?". Students a responds something completely different to what they are doing (such as "i'm brushing my hair"). Student B then starts brushing their hair. This continues till someone is tricked! This can also be done in a big group goin around the circle.
Yes Lets!
The group all move around in a circle or just fill the designated space. One person yells out "Let's do the
action!" (eg. Lets do the SWIM), and the class responds "Yes, Let's" and they all start doing the action until someone else yells out.
Who Started The Motion?
Thegroup stands in a circle. One player gets sent outside while another player is selected to be the leader. The leaders role is to continually be doing movements, such as clapping, tapping their head, rubbing their stomach etc, while the rest of the class follows without making it too obvois who they are following! The person who was sent outside must pick who it is that is starting the motion (the leader)
Wink Murder
one person is selected as the detective and must leave the room. The rest of the class must sit in a circle and close their eyes. The teacher taps one person on the shoulder to signal that they are the murderer. The detective then re enters the room and the class open their eyes. The murderer must gain eye contact of the other class member and wink and them to signify that they are murdered. One you have been winked at you must die (as dramtically as you like!) The detective must find the murderer before the call is dead.
