Cindy Glover,
Bass

Hi, I'm Cindy
I am married to KC, a history teacher. We have one daughter and one son-in-law, Megan and John Murphy, and a grand dog named Jake.

I taught English for 29 years and then changed careers to be an Education Computer Strategist for Laughlin HS in Clark County Nevada School District. It's the most fun and most challenging thing I have done for quite a while...well anyway, since I had to learn 5 songs in two weeks to get ready for a show. Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow.

I was a Sweet Adeline in St. Joseph, MO, in the late '60's and early '70's. I was in several quartets and thoroughly enjoyed my time with the St. Joseph Chorus. I was a tenor then. We then moved to a town in Missouri that was a long way from any Sweet Adeline Chorus, so I took a long hiatus from barbershop singing. But, it's like riding a bicycle, you never forget how. In 1992, we moved to Laughlin and a year later I discovered a small chorus, Mohave Valley Chorus, meeting across the Colorado River in Bullhead City,AZ. I went to the first rehearsal and discovered to my surprise that I was now a bass--the greatest part in the entire organization, by the way!!!!

In 1998 our small chorus disbanded and several of us started driving to Las Vegas, NV to sing with the Celebrity City Chorus. What a fantastic two years it has been. Not only did I find the chorus of my heart, I also found the quartet of my dreams, "Elan". Hope you take a listen to our songs on our home page, and thanks for stoping by.
