This picture was very different for me to do.  I saw this woman and child, (please excuse the scan, their bodies really don't have stripes on them, they are all brown!) and immediately thought of them sitting somewhere serene by a tree and that is how this picture materialized.

The rock she is sitting upon is a leaf that changed the most awesome colours because fall came early.  It had all different shadings in and was perfect for what I needed.  The little blue flowers are forget-me-nots and the silver flower is the top of artemisia.  Has a furry texture.  I placed a forget me not in the mother and child's hair.  They look so happy here don't you think?

In the top hand corner is Queen Anne's Lace, and the tree trunk is cut from a huge autumn leaf and the leaves on the tree I am afraid I don't know the name of..  I loved the grasses in behind the pair which have tips of burgundy, and the large green leaf I believe is a clover leaf.  Little pieces of serated leaf make up the grass at the base of the picture.
The three pictures  here  are vase arrangements using cut outs for containers.  I love the one on the top left which uses real ivy to emphasize the ivy on the frame.  The little fairy is very comfortable perched on the forget me  not.  The flowers are white larkspur, yellow pansy rose petals, lobelia, lilac and pink larkspur.  The teapot holds a white daisy, white and pink larkspur, lobelia, babies breath, rosebud, and small off white hydrangeas.  The picture on the lright shows another teapot featuring ivy again, fan flower, red verbena, queen anne's lace,  blue lobelia and a violet lobelia.  The yellow flower is the side view of the poached egg plant.  Forget me nots and fillers of small leaves complete this arrangement
