| Better Butter |

| This recipe is from Laurel's Kitchen cookbook. It is the only butter I use now for pancakes, waffles, bread, etc. It has half the saturated fat of regular butter plus no hydrogenated oils (like margarine). And it tastes as good as regular butter, but it spreads like tub margarine. 1/2 cup mild flavored oil (I use canola oil) 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) 1 tbsp. water 1 tbsp. non-instant milk powder Blend all ingredients in blender. Pour into 1 cup container and store in refrigerator. |
