  • Setting up the pool table.� We see a very distracted Fraser.� Ray is preoccupied with the past.

  • Restaurant Scene--One or the both of them had just eaten something in the restaurant.� We see from the previous scene that Fraser appears to have lost his appetite after thinking that he saw Victoria. It's pretty obvious that something else is going on here.


Ben:� � No, I got it. (Referring to the check.)
Victoria:� Figure you owe me, huh?
(Victoria starts to leave the restaurant.)
Ben:� � Victoria!
Victoria:� Yeah.
Ben:� � Can I see you again?
Victoria:� When?
Ben:� � Now.
Victoria:� You hungry?
Ben:� � Starving.


Victoria:� Shhhh, this is my favorite movie.� I've always wanted to be Eve Kendall.�
Ben:� � But she sends Cary Grant to be killed.
Victoria:� She had no choice.
Ben:� � Ah.


Victoria:� Did you think we could just pretend that it didn't happen?.�

(She pushes him forcefully against wall.)

Ray: Hey, the consulate said you didn't show up so, I figured you had to be pretty sick.� You all right?
Ben:� I'm fine.
Ray:� So you're not sick?
Ben:� No, I'm fine.
Ray:� But you didn't go to work.
Ben:� Must have slept in.
Ray:� Are you in some kind of trouble?
Ben:� No, no, no, no.� No, I just, I, uh, I have a friend visiting and I,�and I'm�
Ray:� Oh.� What kind of friend?? A guy friend--a girl friend?
Ben:� No. Well, I, er... no.� (Laughs)
Ray:� You got a woman in there?
Ben:� Yes.
Ray:� Way to go, man, way to go.� You got an actual woman, you?�
Ben:� Thanks for dropping by, Ray.
Ray:� Way to go. (To a neighbor)� Got a woman in there!


Victoria:� Do you really have to go to work?
Ben:� Yeah.
Victoria:� So I guess you need this.� (Starting to take off Ben's red tunic.)�
Ben: Kind of.� Although, I do have something like eighty-two sick days coming to me.
Victoria:� Um.� I think you should go straight to bed.
