Beijing:
The Great Wall

Our tour guide brought us to the part of the Great Wall that is closest to Beijing: Juyong Pass. It was originally built in the 5th century, and then rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty. It took us about two hours to go up and back down.

The starting point

What do you mean "there's more"?

I wanna goda that pagoda...

Let's hang out here for a little while. It's flat.

This guy's here to guard against evil spirits.
As if the Wall itself weren't enough of a deterrent.

I thought you said this was the Great "Wall," not the Great "Stairs"...

Look Mom! No hands!

The evil witch has captured Sangho and locked him up in her castle...

.

Oh no! It looks like she got the beautiful princess, too!

An amazing view

In the end, it was worth it...
