This is a "nore-bang" (singing room) machine. The four TV screens provide a continuous display of such scenes as go-cart racing (shown here), boats sailing on the water, children frolicking in fields, and kites floating in the air on a sunny summer's day. When a song is chosen and the music begins, the scenes continue in the background as the words appear on the screen. Going to nore-bang, by the way, is torture for someone like me. Koreans *love* to sing in front of others, and cannot understand why anyone would feel uncomfortable doing so. Also, no one can understand why I don't like most of the "normal" music featured on the song lists. One can only sing The Beatles so many times...
Hidden Catch
This is my favorite arcade game. In this game, there are two "identical" pictures -- but there are six (I think) differences between the two pictures, and you have to find them before the time is up. Some of them are really hard. I could never find it in America... only in Korea. I am trying desperately to find this game for my computer, but no luck as of yet. Anyway, now you know the REAL reason that I came here!
Movie Truck
It's the ultimate big screen TV. It's also the ultimate advertisement. It's the movie truck. This one was parked outside a movie theatre in Seoul to attract movie goers. My dad would love to have this.
Techno Mart
Techno Mart is cool. It's got a basement and 10 floors of electonics, appliances, clothes, food, two arcades and a movie theatre. This is the view looking down from the 7th floor.
