First trace of them here is through John Cortez, January 25, 1637, of St. George one hundred. He was the first paternal ancestor of Charity Courts Adams, who after her husband Sam Adams died, married Samuel Moore who was born about 1723. Charity Courts Adams had a daughter who became the step-daughter of my ancestor Samuel Moore."
