Elaine’s Christmas Letter 2005

December 2005

 

Hello!

 

This year has been an interesting year.  It has been marked with many ups and downs, particularly in friendships, but it's ending well so far.  I'm thankful for all the people who've helped me grow as a better person and friend and for those who love me unconditionally.

 

This year also marks the 6th year I've been here in California.  In my 6 years here, I've visited nearly every tourist spot, and I've gone pretty much everywhere I wanted to go in the San Francisco Bay Area.  In some ways, I'm ready to move on in life, but I'm not sure what that means at this point in time.

 

In other news, my niece, Elizabeth Grace Liu, was born on May 18 this year.  I saw her and the rest of the family in September when Elizabeth was 3 1/2 months old and in November for Thanksgiving.  I'll be visiting home again for Christmas.
