An activity for combining Idioms and PowerPoint in the Classroom 

Instructions (pupil's hat)

1.   Choose and idiom that you find interesting from the list given to you by your teacher or from one of the following websites.

·       ESL Café –Remove the last part of the address and visit the main ESL Café site

·       Idiom site

·       Idiom game from Funbrain

2.   Prepare a 2 screen PowerPoint presentation that will include:

      Screen 1

·       Present your idiom using Images, graphic objects and movement. No text Please

·       Add a runtime textbox where the user can write the idiom he thinks that you are presenting

   Screen 2

·       The correct idiom

·       The name/s of the creator/creators

Ideas and Technical Information (teacher's hat)

·       Making A joint presentation from pupil activities:  Insert/Slides from files/ choose the files that you want to add to the presentation

4.   Additional Project Idea – A story with choices
