| In addition to the Chambers hired staff, the Directors form committees to perform necessary work. The committee members are usually all volunteers from the general membership. Some of the committees are ongoing and some are "as needed" only. All members are welcome and encouraged to join a committee. A committee can be only as effective as its Chairperson. The Chairperson explains the task and insures that the operation runs smoothly from phase to phase. The Chairperson provides active leadership and makes sure that committees carry out assigned activities. |
