After extensive (*coughcough*) research, I have formed the opinion
that evil people wear bad clothes. In manga, at any rate. For example,
when Mamoru was normal Mamoru, he wore nice things, like this...
Now, isn't that just an adorable little uniform? Well, maybe some people wouldn't
quite go for it, but I do. And you can't say it's unfashionable. Now then, here's a
bunch of pictures of Evil Mamoru. (Most of the time I tried to turn the pictures around so
his hair would be going the right way. I scanned most of these from the English manga.)
Wow, that checkerboard shirt's really becoming on you, Mamo-chan.
Ow,
my eyes!
Ug! A cowskin vest? Come on, you know better than that!
This one's not terrible, but still... pretty tacky, don't you think?
Very computer-y.
Yeah yeah, you say, sure he's got bad clothes when he's Evil Endymion, but that doesn't prove
anything! Well, here's my proof that evil people wear bad clothes...
Ohtori Akio of Shoujo Kakumei Utena is evil incarnate. And just
look at those pants! Also note how he's fondling his sister, who's
shoe is on the floor. O.o
And that concludes my testimony. Just so you know, this was all in fun, and
if anyone out there actually owns clothes like these, don't be offended ^_^ I'm sure
they'd look good on you. And anyway, Akio could look sexy in a tutu and deelyboppers, so
what do ugly pants matter?
