My position is as practice manager of the Singapore based veterinary clinic, a 3rd branch of the ARC empire.  I started working here since August 2001.   The job scope covers vet nursing but mostly general administration like reception, drug inventory, and clinic maintenance.  What can I say, I myself am not sure how many things I am suppose to do.  There are sometimes 4 vets who are rostered to come to this clinic through the week.  

About the clinic...

The first clinic was opened in 1998 at Greendale Avenue; by Dr Jean-Paul Ly.  He is a very experienced vet surgeon.  Knowing him and hearing his encouraging words is half way towards the recovery of anyone's sick pets!!  He gives pet owners a sense of trust when they seek his treatment, especially many pet owners who have tried other medical attention.  His special treatment includes skin diseases (like demodectic mange).

I am currently happy with life.  Though I seem to have no life in my current job.  My work hours are quite long; from 8.30am to 9pm with an afternoon lunch break.  It is my first job, and I am glad that I am usually very free at work.  I believe that I cannot ever be bored in life because every passing day is just a wonderful journey and a wonderful gift from God.
