ICE ON MY HAND ...
It was amazing how couples become,
Ever wonder how the attractions started?
A school girl smile *wazit? or
A simple touch;
'twas like Ice on My Hand ...
Burnt like fire & froze the winter air around,
Far away .. beneath the stars I dream;
Two people are lead together.
With another look ... a relationship settles;
like dust in the rain, 'twas that
like Ice on My Hand ...
The way your laughter comforts me,
I know I will never fall in times of evil & fear,
You'll promise me;
the love of a lifetime ...
When we sleep ... our dreams,
we make our journey through dimmed starlight,
and through clear afternoon skies.
We are one world, and
we are one in existence,
bound with the Ice on My Hand ...
Remember?
I know I'll never be the same ...
our love knows no end;
You are music to my ear,
You made my heart melt
like Ice on My Hand ...
I could never fall in love like that again!

THE HEART AT BAY
Once I thought I brought it with me ...
My heart.
Once grew in a distant town where my baby tears shed,
then, guided by the winds,
my heart went to a place in The Down Under,
It was where My Love began, My Life was complete ...
Full-hearted in love but not in other things,
My heart kept me going on,
to fight my foes and learn my duties;
In the world that is away from my home.
My thoughts were always with my family,
Tho' in a distance,
My bond remained strong ...
for they are my veins and my foundation rock!

OVER LOVER WATERS
Knowing you for a year,
Seems we have always been friends,
Your name flies through my mind,
Every day and every night;
touched by your care for me.
I feel light hearted, happy to have this bond;
I know ...
Love will always be around ...
Over Lover Waters,
When we walk over shallow creeks,
we look eye-to-eye and whisper,
You lighten up my face with your gentle words ...
Around us, there will be roses & lilacs,
But overpowering thunder and quicksand haunts our journey,
We shall flourish like a fountain of eternity,
Overshadowing darkness, and
withstanding the barriers of time ...
In our very own love affair.
