Project 0 |
Silvergray Comments: Although "Project 0" was meant to have more color, when I finished the silver underpainting,
it just seemed like a better idea to leave it the way it was. I took some other liberties as well. I added rust to the metal as
well as some color and shape to some of the internal wiring.
I did feel that the gun should also have been rusty looking, but it occured to me that such a weapon would be a bad idea to bring
to a battle. Gun owners tend to keep their weapons clean and rust-free.
The wings are supposed to be an new accessory added to Project 0 so it made sense that they would also be rust-free.
I do feel that the painting looks a bit cluttered though.
R.S. Comments: It does kind of look inconsistent with the wings and gun having no rust, and no one in their right
minds would bring a rusty old thing like that to outer space.
There were supposed to be some flexible and transparent gel/plastic/metal materials added to the joints where the wiring shows so as
to protect the sensitive areas of the robot, but I think the rusty junkpile robot look looks cooler. If it can tear off a "sentinel's"
head in that rickety condition, think of how kickass it must have been in tip top shape.
It doesn't look like a power ranger robot anymore, but doesn't it kind of look like Guyver? Especially with that color combination?
Egads. Still, kudos to Silvergray for a stand-up job.
