1. Support at least one pairing. Or don't. I don't really give a damn.
2. There is to be no character bashing. (This includes Daisuke and Jun.) (Yes, this also includes Sora) (Jokes and joke stories do not count)
3. Never seriously bash a pairing, in any form. (This does not include well-reasoned arguments, but comments such as "Taito is SICK" "Taiora is like spiritual incest" or, the all popular "Crossbreeding/Yaoi/Yuri/(pairing name here) is for LOSERS." are taboo.)
4. No flaming, beginning a flame war or intentionally continuing a flame war. EVER. (Responses to flames are your own choice)
5. Always come to the aid of your Special Forces brethren or sistren when asked. (You are expected to help to a degree, even on issues you do not believe in, however you are not required to change your opinion.)
6. When and if you are flamed, be witty and consise. Do not be willingly hurtful. However, keep in mind that they have entered your space and are...really...asking for trouble. Try be well reasoned, and the less you use the word "sux" the better.
7. Have a general grasp of the English language. Please. Pretty plese.
8. If you break anything on this list, do not try to hide behind your SF badge. And if we find out, there will be hell.
9. In the eyes of the Special Forces, all pairings are equal. This includes Yaoi, Yuri, Het, Crossbreeding or incest.
10. You need not support every pairing or idea to become a Special Forces member, but you must be willing to live and let live.
11. While it is expected that you will call yourself "(pairing) Special Forces" (for instance, I would call myself Daiken Special Forces) you may change your title as circumstances demand and at any given point. It is even acceptable to be on more than one list, for instance I could call myself "Daiken Special Forces" "Hiyako Special Forces" "Taito Special Forces" "Mira Special Forces" "Kouyako Special Forces" "Miyahawk Special Forces" or any other pairing I currently hold a sweet spot for. However, if you want your name changed on The List, please tell me
12. At some point in the not too distant future, I will be creating graphical badges (banners) for members. If you wish to make your own, go right ahead. I suck and I know it.
13. Always remember that you represent the Special Forces.
14. Always keep a sense of humor
15. There is no leader. Not even me. There is a slight rule of seniority, but no member is assumed to automatically be any better than any others. If there is ever an issue as to someone being tossed out or let in, it will be brought before all members, through a (soon to be created) e-group.
16. Remember, anyone who is flamed assumed to be your brethren or sistren. We are firefighters, remember.
17. As well as there being pairing Special Forces Members, you may also become "Special Forces Yaoi", "Special Forces Yuri", "Special Forces Crossbreeding", "Special Forces Straight", or just plain "Special Forces". I will also be willing to give special badges to people with different views. If you want one of those, e-mail me.
