Farewell dinner for Paul and Eka at Marche with Calvin, Daniel and Rachel/
Well, I thought that since I was going to fly really soon, which is like one week from now (the date when I started creating this website, I wanted to meet up with all my friends, as much as possible. Its not that I'm going to Cambridge for like 2 years before coming back to Singapore but I reckon that it'll be nice to say a formal farewell to everybody. And since Paul knows everybody and is going to leave for UK about the same time as I am (i'm still trying to get the same flight as him), I thought, why not invite him along too.
And thus, the other three guys can't take it, so they MUST take with Rachel, and there goes. Three guys and a babe. Wah! Paul looks so good in here... and actually he does, with that mega-watt smile of his. Soon after that, Calvin had to run off, because its his nite out with the guys. He was nice enough to come to meet us for dinner.
Initially I wanted to take some photos in Marche but there were signs saying 'No Photography'. I thought that I should respect their decision, because I don't want to be thrown out with my Sambal Stingray flying out along with me.
On our way out, I proposed some photos with the Marche cows. Everybody agreed to it instantaneously. I wanted to take some of the red/white cow in the basement but there were a couple of kids molesting the cow so we were like 'OKKIIIEEEE..." so we ended up taking with this yan dao cow who doesn't even want to look into the camera, don't even know if its a male or female.
And thus, we continued on, and Aha! Heeren's famous fountain. Why not there too? So one thing led to another...
Ah! Three handsome boys, side by side. In the middle is me, straight from Harajuku, the Fashion Street of Tokyo. On my right, with the funky hairstyle and matching red shirt is Calvin Ong. On my left is the drummer boy, Daniel Tan Zhiyong.
<-- Of course I need to take with the babe of the night, Rachel. Wah! Such a sweet pose! As I was saying, one thing leads to another. And thus, Rachel started to do her signature pose, and I can't help it but to copy, but I think I look damn ridiculous out there. *kowtow to Rachel* All hail, the Queen of the stick-out tongue. ----->
After a long tiring day in school for the NUS people (Daniel and Rachel) and the photo shoot, we decided to get ourselves a drink, or some dessert. With Aircon.. Thats a must, especially in Singapore. We were about to cross the road when I asked them to hold still, so that I can take a memory shot of Heeren, which I can look back when I go to Cambridge. Paul - We got to cherish this photo, we won't be here for some time.
YUMMY MUD-PIE!!!! Gosh, I'll miss this stuff when I go to Cambridge. Its half Cappucino ice-cream, half Chocolate ice-cream, with an Oreo base... Sinful! But yum. This is only half eaten but it looks so good!
Afterwards, Paul was so kind enough to treat us all, and send us back home. THANK YOU PAVL (pronounced as Pah-Vul)!!! You're so gracious! I bet that the waiter must be thinking, 'This kind soul is nice enough to tip me too!' Our ride back home was hilarious. I was taking photos in the car, with the flash going off, like a strobe. These are some of the funny ones I've got. If you want any funnier ones, I can pass you to, but I need to ask the permission of the two above.
And whats a night without a photo with my good friend, Paul. We were at the junction just opposite my house. Thought that since nobody is out there help us take a photo, I did one myself... Looks like I need more practise and should stop making that stupid double-chin. It looks ugly. Stick out your chin, Soldier.
Paul's looking at his Ice Passion Tea and thinking, 'where's the syrup?' 'Its at the bottom', Rachel says. 'Oh, yum'. Oh boy, he's drooling... but I can't see the saliva. Stir stir away he goes.
