Formed in 2007 by trumpeter James Barela, BLu7's debut CD "Cultural Instigator" is currently being played by DJ's in over 20 countries including USA, Canada, England, Scotland, Norway, Finland, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Spain, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. BLu7's track, "Matador" was selected for Las Vegas KUNV 91.5 FM's jazz compilation, "It's About Time" (2009) BLu7 is featured on the BBC's Paul Miller Show, Tony Poole's Virgo Vibes (Spain), Taiwan National Radio, Noisehead.com, and AllAboutJazz.com. |
