Use of jeeps and staff from day 12 to day 24 (13 days, or two weeks). T220 per kilometer. Total kilometers is probably 68+353 +400+340+413+175+80+400+171+170= 2570 km (T565,180) About $1,000 US for the jeep. Plus US$ 10 per day for two staff (US$260). Camping 7 or 8 to 9 nights. Hotels are generally $10 per person per night. 4 nights with two additional adults=$240 (Chandmam camp is $30 per night for two nights) =$360. 4 person suite in Ulaan Baatar is 8 nights for $25 per night= $200. Children camp is $690. Train to Erdenet is $30 for all four of us. Total cost in Mongolia aside from food should be not more than $2800. Food will not add much to this.

Other costs are flights to BeiJing in summer for family of four plus the hotel and costs in Beijing and the cost of the train to Ulaan Baatar. Tickets at $900 each, train to Ulaan Baatar at $140 each, and hotel in Beijing for 4 nights will cost $200, and other expenses in Beijing will be about $50 per day. So total costs outside Mongolia will be $4500.

One month trip for family of four to Mongolia should cost $7,200 or less. Includes a few days in Beijing.
