4:19 Stop in Stanton to see the Toy Museum

5:03 get back on I-44 from Sullivan after a 42 minute break.

5:30 St James exit and head south toward Salem.

6:05 Salem Stop for McDonalds for Dinner

6:59 leave McDonalds in Salem after a 54 minute break.

7:15 arrive at Jadwin Canoes

So, if we had not stopped I think we would have needed 2 hours and 25 minutes to drive from Richmond Heights to Jadwin Canoes, near the Current River.

2:29 stop at bridge where MO-19 crosses Meramec

2:36 leave bridge over Meramec after seven minutes of a fruitless search

3:15 Cuba. Eat at Hardees drive-through. A 9-minute stop.

3:24 return to I-44 from Cuba

3:40 Sullivan

3:54 Leave rest area near Stanton after a 5 minute stop.

4:17 pass Six Flags

4:44 arrive home.

2 hours 40 minutes. with 7 minutes, 9 minutes, and 5 minutes stops.

2 hours 19 minutes of driving. I guess it must be about five minutes faster to use the I-44 access at Cuba rather than St. James when going to Salem, Missouri.
