Day 1: Fly into Denver. Rest in Denver. Super 8 Denver Central.
Day 2: Dinosaur Ridge Field Trip with Friends of Dinosaur Ridge (Denver suburb of Morrison). See dinosaur tracks. Then visit the Morrison Natural History Museum to learn more about the fossils. These outings take only half-a-day, so the rest of the day is free. Super 8 Denver Central.
Day 3: Day at the Natural History Museum and the Denver Zoo in Denver�s City Park. Super 8 Denver Central.
Day 4: Drive down to Colorado Springs in the morning. Visit the Western Museum of Mining and Industry for a couple hours, then go to the Garden of the Gods for a couple hours. Leave Colorado Springs in the mid-afternoon. Get to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument for the late afternoon and evening. Drive 50 miles to Fairplay, Colorado to spend the night there in the Western Inn.
Day 5. Drive over Hoosier Pass (11,541 feet) on Highway 9 to get to I-70. Stop in Vail to see Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. On to Glenwood Springs for lunch. Visit Glenwood Caverns and go swimming in Glenwood Hot Springs Pool. Spend night in Glenwood Springs at the Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge.
Day 6: Morning drive to Grand Junction. While there hike on the Trail Through Time at the Rabbit Valley Research Nature Area. Then visit the Museum of Western Colorado and Dinosaur Valley. Then hike the Riggs Hill Trail and the Dinosaur Hill Trail. Spend the night in Grand Junction at the Adam�s Mark, Grand Junction.
Day 7: possibly take a hike in the morning if there wasn�t time to finish all the trail the previous day. Continue to Fruita, Colorado to visit Devil�s Canyon Science and Learning Center Dinamation International Society. Then on I-70 to exit 212 in Utah and south on State-128 to Moab. Night in Moab at Apache Motel.
Day 8: Day in Arches National park. Second night at Apache Motel in Moab.
Day 9: Visit Dead Horse Point State Park. Hike the Mill Canyon Dinosaur Trail and the Sauropod Dinosaur Tracksite (Potash Road Dinosaur Tracks) not far from Moab (See Bureau of Land Management for directions). Drive 110 miles to Price, Utah where spend night at Best Western Carriage House Inn.
Day 10: Visit the Prehistoric Museum in Price (College of Eastern Utah) and then go down to the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry. In late afternoon begin three hour drive to Delta, Utah, using State Road-10, I-70, US-50, and I-15. Stay in Delta at Best Western Motor Inn.
Day 11: Go fossil and mineral hunting at U-Dig Fossils, Topaz Mountain, and Sunstone Knoll. Second night in Delta at Best Western Motor Inn.
Day 12: Drive to Provo, Utah. Visit the Earth Science Museum in Provo at Brigham Young University. Then continue to Salt Lake City. Spend the night in Salt Lake City at Quality Inn City Center.
Day 13: Visit the Utah Museum of Natural History. Second night in Quality Inn City Center.
Day 14: Free day to see sights of Salt Lake City. Third night in Quality Inn City Center.
Day 15: Day trip to Ogden, Utah. See the George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park and the Museum of Natural Science in Ogden. Return to Salt Lake City for fourth night in Quality Inn City Center.
Day 16: Drive to Vernal, Utah. Visit the Utah Field House of Natural History and look around Vernal. Stay at the Dinosaur Inn.
Day 17: Day to tour the Dinosaur National Monument. Second night in Dinosaur Inn.
Day 18: Day to raft on the Green River in Dinosaur National Monument. Third night in Dinosaur Inn.
Day 19: Visit Red Fleet State Park to examine Dinosaur tracks there. Continue north on U. S. 191 to Rock Springs, WY. In Rock Springs visit the Western Wyoming Community College Museum. Spend the night in Diamondville (near Kemmerer) at the Energy Inn.�
Day 20: Visit Fossil Butte National Monument in the morning. Afternoon drive to Grand Teton National Park with a stop near Montpelier, Idaho at the Minnetonka Cave. Perhaps stay in Jackson, Wyoming at the Golden Eagle Inn, or else stay in cabins within the Grand Teton National Park.
Day 21: Day in Grand Teton National Park. Second night in Jackson or in the Park.
Day 22: Second full day in Grand Teton National Park. Third night in Jackson or in Park.
Day 23: Drive from Grand Teton National Park up into Yellowstone. Stay near Old Faithful.
Day 24: Full day around Old Faithful. Second night there.
Day 25: Up to Mammoth Hot Springs. Night there.
Day 26: Morning at Mammoth Hot Springs. Afternoon at canyon of the Yellowstone. On to Cody to spend night there at Skyline Motor Inn.
Day 27: Morning drive down to Thermopolis and spend most of the day there at the Wyoming Dinosaur Center. Late Afternoon drive on to Casper, WY, where spend the night at Parkway Plaza Hotel and Convention Center.
Day 28: Visit Tate Mineralogical Museum in Casper. Continue south to Laramie where we visit the University of Wyoming Geological Museum. Stop in Cheyenne to visit Wyoming State Museum. Night in Cheyenne at Lincoln Court.
Day 29: Drive down to Denver. Afternoon and evening shopping in Denver.
Day 30: Return flight from Denver.
