Arrive in London.

Day to adjust to time difference and overcome jet lag.

Morning in London. In afternoon rent car and drive to Rochester.

Check out of hotel and make short drive in car to see Leeds castle.

Morning after breakfast drive to Dover and see cliffs and Dover Castle.

Afternoon visit Bodiam Castle.

Late afternoon visit Battle near Hastings.

Day 8.

Morning visit Arundel Castle.

Afternoon at Corfe Castle.

Drive north through Blandford Forum and Shaftesbury, stopping at ruins of Wardour Castle.

Afternoon in Salisbury. See Cathedral.

See Stonehenge and villages or sights around Salisbury and Amesbury.

Drive to Bath.

Day 15.

Make several stops in Chippinham, Cirencester, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, and Chpping Campden to enjoy villages on drive up to Stratford. If time, look around Stratford, otherwise continue to Warwick.

Day 16.

In morning go back to Stratford upon Avon (only 9 miles from Warwick) if interested.

Afternoon visit Warwick Castle and Kenilworth Castle.

Early evening drive north on A46 to Lincoln.

Day to explore Lincoln and visit the castle and cathedral there.

Long drive in the morning. A15 to Sleaford, A17 to King’s Lynn, and A47 to Norwich.

Visit Castle and Cathedral, old churches.

Go south to Framlingham Castle, then stop in Ipswich and Colchester and Braintree on way back to London.

Turn in rental car.

Visit Natural History Museum in London.

Take train out to Windsor to see castle there.
