Mel Gibson is Jerry Fletcher, a New York cab driver who self-publishes a newsletter called Conspiracy Theory.  When one of his stories unexpectedly turns out to be true, he goes on the run, and the first place he runs to is Alice Sutton (Julia Roberts)...

I rented this one weekend expecting an entertaining but typical action movie-lots of explosions, Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts ending up in bed, you know the drill.  Boy, was I in for a surprise and a treat.  This is one of the few truly good action movies out there, with a good script and a great cast.
