What if you have citizenship elsewhere?
Since we receive a vast number of e-mails that have almost always asked this question of some kind, we decided to address the question directly.

What if I am a citizen elsewhere? Like what if I'm a citizen of a nation in the world like the United States and so on?

No problem. All Ejahns are also citizens of a greater nation somewhere in the world. You can remain a citizen of those nations while also being a citizen of Ejah (an Ejahn). Ejah doesn't have taxes and being an Ejahn is more about the time you dedicate to being an Ejahn that it is to geographical location, religion, gender, nationality, ethnicity, race, creed, political affiliation, and so on. Ejah exists through Ejahns, thus Ejah is its people. Ejah, the nation, is viewed as a gathering of Ejahns. Thus the nation is ever present amongst a group of Ejahns wherever they may be.

What if I am a citizen of another Ejah type nation? What if I am a citizen of a micronation? What if I am a citizen of some other form of "nation" that acts much like Ejah?

No problem. Ejahns have many identities, many groups they belong to. The groups themselves do not identify them as Ejahns. Instead, being an Ejahn is simply being in those groups and identifying as who you already are. The ideals of Ejah which are: human dignity and rights, peace, kindness, unity, appreciation and acceptance of diversity, as well as animal rights. These ideals of Ejah are the characteristics of an Ejahn. Regardless of any other group you may belong to, any other nationality you may have, being an Ejahn means you believe in these ideals, these values, and want to see them made real through your own actions as an Ejahn. Other than that, Ejah doesn't ask you to profess any new religion, new political affiliation, new nationality, and so on. You can remain all of those things that make you who you are and still be an Ejahn simply because you live by the very ideals that all other Ejahns also live by and put into action every day. So being an Ejahn isn't so difficult.

What if I don't want to be a part of the nation of Ejah, but I still want to help out in the organization? Do I still need a name and everything?

No, the organization often functions seperately from the nation. Still, if you expect to be mentioned in news and other aspects of Ejah, a name and the other information we ask for for citizens of the nation is required.

If I participate just in the organization, am I still an Ejahn?

Yes.

If I participate in the nation, do I have to participate in the organization?

No, although we appreciate what time you can give to both. Ejahns can participate in one or the other or both. The decision is left solely for the Ejahn to decide. However, please remember that the leaders of the nation are also the leaders of the organization so if 1) elections are held you will still need to vote even though you are not apart of the nation and 2) you can only run for elected offices if you are truly willing to take on all the roles of the position you run for, both national and organizational.
