I have so much to talk about and I have been postponing this entry cuz I've been busy. You know me! It's either having fun, being lazy or actually busy with school. Ugh...speaking of school, I took my first IB exam yesterday. Actually, I took 2 - English and Physics. Physics HL was sooooo hard!! :( I think I failed it!! Wahhh!! I totally guessed a lot of the answers and it wasn't just me. Everybody who took HL or SL thought it was extremely hard. If it was actual calculations, it wouldn't have been that bad. But it asked us to write a lot about all these theories and laws. So today, we took Paper 3 and our HL options were history of Physics and optics! :O We had to read huge packets by ourselves at home and we didn't go over any of the history stuff in class at all. So we were screwed! So basically, I failed that exam in 3 different countries! Paper 1 is going to Wales, Paper 2 is to British Columbia and Paper 3 is to Canada. Awesome, right? ARGH! So yup, yesterday was just an exam day and today I stayed after the test to go to Bio class, History, Math and then Bio review after school. I wished I could have gone home but I stayed. And I ended up presenting my module in History which sucked! I didn't remember much of it but I didn't embarrasse myself toooo much cuz half of the class wasn't there. So that was the start of my 2 weeks of IB exam craze! Eeek! But I've finished 3 of my 11 exams so that's a good thing. I have math tomorrow which I don't think would be that bad. It's gonna be nice tomorrow cuz the test is just 1 hr so I'm just gonna go in around 12 and then leave around 2. Yesterday was awful though. English wasn't that bad cuz it was just 2 hrs but the Physics one was 3 and a half hrs and that was sooo bad since I didn't know what I was doing!
Anyway, enough about exams!! I was just so frustrated! But let me talk about something else. Ohh...Malcolm's CD...yup, it came out last Wednesday and it's AWESOME!!!! I listened to it like 3 times when I got home. I like 9 of the 13 songs that are on it so that's really good. Some of the stuff is just hilarious! But the beats are good, the lyrics are awesome and the rapping is off the charts! Haha...so yeah, Malcolm has asked me to be the spokesperson for "Whodiology" since I like it so much! So pick up the CD if you haven't already!!! And yeah, that means YOU!! He might have a concert at Club Phoenix before the year is over so keep checking when that'll be. I'm sure it'd be tight as niss!! LOL.
Just remembered something else...wow, so many things have happened in a week! But I donated blood on Friday and it was memorable! Haha. Yeah...since I was gonna be donating blood anyway, I figured why not do it during French so that I don't have to go to class, right? So Mai E. hooked me up and it was Meriem, Sylvie and I and all of us had appointments during French. That was done on Tuesday. BUT Mdm. Rudney figured why not give an IB test in class on Friday just for the fun of it? So that's what she did. When I told her I have to go, she gave me one of her infamous frowns and told me I couldn't. So I had to go back and change the appointment time and then had to take the test! During TOK, I went down to the Blood Drive place with Meriem. There were so many people when we got there and our appointment was at 12:15. We ended up waiting for about 2 hrs before they called us in. We didn't finish until 3:30! I'm telling you, I'm jinxed! The same kind of thing happened last year's Blood Drive. I ended up staying after school and I was the last one there. But anyway, about Friday...so we got a chance to just talk. There were a lot of us there so it was just our little free time. When Meriem and I were finally called in, there were only about 5 people left. The nurses started to get blood from us. The needle wasn't that bad but my nurse pushed the needle too far in so it hurt so much! And she knew it too. She kept saying sorry but now I've 2 dark purple bruises with a big green bruise around them. Others just got a tiny hole where the needle went in. Meriem was in front of me and we were talking while they took out blood. And then all of a sudden, she felt a little dizzy so her nurse reclined her chair back a little bit more. Before you know it, 5 nurses were rushing to her side and everybody was yelling for a cold compress and some soda. One of them was calling her name and patting her cheek. Meriem blacked out for a second or two and her eyes were going up - she was in shock! They took out the needle and tried to rejuvenate her. While all of this was going on, one of the bags of blood was leaking from the cart in front of me. No one noticed until half of the bag was on the floor. So there was a big needle in my arm and blood was being taken out from me and half a pint of blood was in a puddle on the floor in front of me and Meriem was in shock and her face was white across from me. I thought about the situation and laughed inside a bit. What a great scene!! But that whole thing was over in a while. Meriem was all better again and we both laughed about it. The funny part was we were both hyper afterwards. I don't know why. Last year, I was really tired afterwards. So we went to Barnes&Noble and looked thru some magazines before going to see "Mean Girls." It was really funny too! I like it. Lindsay Lohan is beautiful and she is such a good actress. Then, we filled ourselves at Chili's. We were trying to get back all that glucose! Haha. But people were looking at us cuz we had lime green bandages on our arms and we had stickers on our shirts. A lady thought it had to do with gay pride or something. She was like "it's good that you're fighting for support" or something like that. I looked at her and told her we gave blood. She didn't say much after that! O...K...! LOL. I got home and I was still really hyper so I called Aye and we talked until around 3 but it was gooood! :>
The next day (Sat.) I went into DC with Ali. We walked around GW campus and walked all over the place. We even got to Georgetown! We didn't have a map and we were just walking wherever our feet took us. That was fun! :D But I had to take her to the Marvin Center, which is the "cool" spot at GW and she loved it, esp. the Conceirge Desk!! *wink* Haha...yup, she'll be visiting me a lot next year and I'm happy! :) So we came back on the metro and we were just talking and talking. After about a station a half, we were out of the tunnel. There were trees everywhere!! We kept talking and then I stopped. I looked around, puzzled. I told Ali that we couldn't be out of the tunnel that soon. Cuz I know we don't get out of the tunnel until near East Falls Church and I was correct! The next station the train stopped was at Arlington Memorial!!!! We were on the wrong train! LOL. We got out and had to go to the opposite platform. That was embarrassing! *blush* I've never been on a wrong train so I guess that was it. Haha. But we were laughing so hard at ourselves. We kept checking the names of the stations when we were on the right train until when we got to Dunn Loring. :P When we got back, we went our separate ways cuz she had to do something. So I came home and called up Aye and talked some more. While I was on the phone with Aye, Ali called me. So I headed back out to her house and we went to Tysons II. She wanted to go prom dress shopping so we went to all these stores. But the first store that we went to has a really pretty dress and we both liked the same one. She tried on a light blue one while I tried on the black. It was simple in the front but the 2 straps were made of rhinestones and at the back, those straps crisscross and made it sooo pretty. So we were in the dressing room looking at ourselves in the mirror and didn't want to take them off! But it's expensive so...*pout* I don't know yet though. We got some ideas for our hair too. So we'll just have to see. Prom is coming in 2 weeks!! Yikes!
We went back to Ali's house (which was very tricky but I won't give the details!! *wink*). She wanted to make some smoothie but she didn't have the ingredients so we ended up baking cupcakes which was a mess!! LOL. We had so much fun but it got really messy. I had the wrong measurements and we both were kind of "crazy" that night. Everything we did was just hopelessly pathetic! :P But we were cracking up soooo much! It was probably because we were laughing so hard that we made all those mistakes! BUT the cupcakes turned out to be good so we ate a bunch of them. Each of us probably ate like 10 of them and we were also test-tasting it while we made it. So we felt kinda sick afterwards. I came back home and after I washed up, I was fine again. So I called up Aye since I NEVER get to talk to her! Haha. And we talked till around 2am. I hadn't stopped talking LITERALLY since I woke up on Friday morning except while I was sleeping. So when I woke up on Sunday, I didn't feel too well. My throat was sore and my nose was congested. Since then, I've been feeling a little sick. But I've been sleeping 8 hrs a night for the past 2 nights which is extremely rare for me on a weeknight! LOL. And tomorrow, I won't be going into school till around 12 so I get to sleep in!! Yay! So anyway, let me stop myself from going any further with this entry. It's soooo long already. So ciao for now. I'll probably be back real soon before my next crazy week of exams come. Aye's coming back on Saturday which is also Lindsay's 18th birthday!!! I'm excited! :D So till later!
