Hey guyz,

How's everyone? I seem to be pretty relaxed lately. Well, sorta! We're close to the IB exams so teachers are not giving out much hw. Mostly, we're reviewing or testing so I don't really have much to do at home, which is awesome since I'm in a slump!! :P Because we don't get much work anymore, I'm even more lazy. Ugh...lol. YAY for laziness!!
Today wasn't that bad until the end. English was ok but we had 2 hrs of French and she kept us the whole 2 hrs too! That wasn't good. So we had half hr lunch where Carolina was telling us about the protest in DC yesterday about abortion rights. Hmm...and I didn't even know about it! I thought she was talking about Loyola since she visited it on Friday and stayed overnight. Well, I got there a bit late and by that time, she was already so fired up. She was so excited and her eyes were beaming! So anyway, I wasn't too happy that we didn't get to go outside though. Last week was awesome so we spent our lunch hour out in the Senior Courtyard under a beautiful cherry tree. It's so peaceful there. It's like our own secret garden cuz nobody else come there. So it's just our own little group and it's so nice there. But today, it just had to be icky! It's so humid and I hate it. It's supposed to be cooler tomorrow and Wednesday (around 40s to low 60s) so I'm not really liking it. But the rest of the week and the weekend will be better again. :) Haha...I'm getting side-tracked! So we had lunch in the IB center and in TOK, we watched a documentary/movie about a mid-wife back in the 18th century. It was boring but what else could I do but watch it. And then last period, I had to take an awful awful Paper 2 for Math. It was only part 1 but I had no idea how to do most of the questions so I ended up guessing a lot. That was BAD!! I hope part 2 will be better tomorrow. *crossed fingers* Hmm...when I think about it now, today wasn't a very good day, huh? LOL. Oh well, it's over!
But as I came downstairs after the test, I saw Malcolm. It was already 2:40 and everyone was gone by then. We got to talk about his soon-to-be-released CD. I'm so proud of him!! He's just going full-speed to get the CD done and I'm sure he has really good songs. I can't wait to listen to it. He wrote something about me in the credits on the inside cover. He asked me not to read it but I glanced at it and saw my name clearly in what was like 500 words! Haha. Well, my name is pretty easy to see! When I told him that I saw my name, he freaked. He went back to read it again, trying to find my name. Haha...that was funny! The CD is supposed to be out this week or next week so I'm really looking forward to it. Sky came to talk to us too and he asked me if I'm gonna be in the Assassin game. Hmm...I don't know yet but it should be fun! We'll see. So yeah, talking to Malcolm made my day a bit. He's awesome. I'm glad he's going to UVA so I'll see him when I visit it and I do visit it quite a lot!! And I might transfer there for next fall. Right now, I've decided to go to George Washington but I'll be staying on campus. Haha...yeah, on campus all the way! *wink* But I'm the only one from Marshall going there, or at least that's what I think. I'm gonna be pretty lonely the first few weeks and I'm not looking forward to that. Ify is going to UVA too! YAY! She went to visit Emory and didn't like the school even though she loved the city. So there'll be a lot of people from Marshall at UVA and hopefully, I'll be there with them next fall too. I don't know what spell UVA has cast on me but I just seem to be addicted to it. It's probably because of all the good memories I have had there and since Aye is there too.
Alright, no bad thoughts! Be positive!! So yeah, this weekend was pretty good. It was so relaxed and I didn't have much to do. I had about an hour worth of hw and that gave me so much free time. It gave me a chance to do some cooking though so that was awesome. I love cooking and I haven't cooked in ages!! And my dad came back from Norway yesterday. He left on Tuesday so I hadn't seen him in about a week. He looked different but I missed him. My mom did too. He complained about the security at the airport though. He doesn't want to travel abroad anytime soon now. Haha. On Friday, we finally went to Shrevewood again. I didn't know if we could go until 5 minutes after school. Nobody comes to Interact anymore. Am I the only one who likes to play with the kids and actually wants to go there?? I hope not. Meriem and Carla always go with me so that's good. But it seems like I'm the only one who gets excited about going. Sigh...But we did go and I had fun. The kids were asking me where we had disappeared to since we hadn't been there since March probably. It was hot that day though. So Sylvie, Meriem and I went to Baskin Robins and chilled there. Haha...chilled...get it? Alright, I'm wacko!! But we've already established that truth. :P Sylvie had to go after about an hour to go to Adam's baseball game. She kept asking us to go but it's baseball...*shrug* She didn't want to go either but he would have been upset. Meriem and I stayed to talk some more in my car. Luckily, we were in the car because it started to rain hard and a thunderstorm was coming. We HAD to call Sylvie to tell her that the game would be cancelled. She was excited! Haha. But the game was postponed to the next day and she dragged me there anyway. I gotta say baseball is not my thing. It was absolutely boring and especially when we were losing 7-2! AHHH! Are we ever good at sports?? It was embarrassing cuz the two of us were on the Madison side and we didn't realize it but there were so many people to support Madison. The game was slow. Basketball and soccer are more my thing and I don't think I'll be going to another baseball game in a while. Sorry, Syl! Oh, but we saw Nick Tomasetti. I probably spelled his name wrong. But you, Kilmer-graduates, might remember him. I had French with him in 8th grade. He goes to Madison and he was playing in the game. He looks the same so you'd probably remember him if you see him somewhere.
I talked so much with Aye this weekend too. We talked about an hour on Friday night because she was out when I called and then we both were tired. She went to Busch Gardens with the IRC group the next day and I really wanted to go with her as well. Last year, when we went to Kings Dominion, she got really sick and had to stay back. I wanted to go with them again this year but the girl who arranged the trip wasn't a friend of my sisters. But they had extra tix this year anyway and I should have been able to go. Haha...I don't even go to UVA and I'm ripping them off anyway I can, huh? Anyway, she didn't get back till midnight that night and we talked for about 2 hrs. And yesterday, we talked about 4 hrs straight and then we talked on AIM for about an hour or two and then we talked some more on the phone before we went to bed. LOL. We talk SOOOO MUCH!! Such chatter-boxes!! But we won't be able to talk till, maybe, this weekend. Her exams are starting but she'll be done on the 7th. And then she's gonna come back to distract me while I take my IB exams! Grrr...Well, I hope to talk to you soon. I'm trying to upload the pix from WaterFest to imagestation and it's taking forever. I'll try to have that album up by the end of this week, hopefully. So heads up on that and I'll talk to ya later!

It's all the little things that I know
Those are the things that make you mine
And it's like flying without wings
Cuz you're my special thing
