Hey,
I have so much to talk about today. I had such an awsome weekend. I hope you did too. I might even have to split this entry into two because I think I might ramble on and on in excitement. Hehe. Bear with me here, alright? The weather has been awesome since Friday and I love it! And I'm sore too right now but we'll get to that later. Now, let me tell you what happened...
Friday started off pretty well - maybe foreshadowing what was to come! Mrs. Goodwin wasn't there but she didn't leave that much for us to do so after the first 10 minutes, we had the whole period to ourselves. So we ended up chilling for another 80 minutes. But Ali had her wallet and her carkeys stolen the night before and she wasn't too happy about it. She was kinda laughing about it though so that was good. I don't know why all the bad things happen to her. :( She's looking forward to next year though. The day went by pretty quickly and it turned out that there were only 3 people going to Interact so I had to cancel it. *pout* I miss the kids. I wish more people would go. We only have about 4 more Fridays we can go. And it's impossible for us to go when there are only a few people. The 15 kids want a friend each and when there are not enough of us, some of them cry or sulk. I feel horrible. And I would end up playing with 5 or 6 kids, sometimes swinging them! So yeah, we didn't get to go. But then, it gave Meriem and I a chance to go to Baskin Robins. It was hot that day so of course, we needed to cool down with some delicious shakes. And of course, like always, I had to get mocha milkshake. After a while, Meriem had to go send her brothers to Reston. I went to Stenwood E.S. to pick Ali up from Band Buddies. She gives kids free music lessons. She didn't have her car cuz she didn't have her license. Poor Ali! :( So we went to the movie theatre and met up with Meriem and saw "The Whole Ten Yards." It was somewhat of a funny movie but it wasn't too good. I didn't really like it. Dinner was funny when the conversation turned into something "hot and sweaty." LOL. That was fun! After dinner at Chili's, we went to Ali's house and chilled for the entire night. We were gonna go into Vienna but when we got to her room, we felt so cozy that we didn't want to leave. She's a really good decorator and she's so creative. She's designing my dorm room next year! We looked at some prom dresses too. There were 2 dresses that I liked but I don't know if I'd like them. So we'll see. I was playing with Emma the whole time too. She's absolutely adorable. She's like a baby. Haha...and I was pretending to be dog too and she got really confused. She whimpered and tried to get into the middle. Aww...so cute!
The next morning, Ali and I went shopping for Mike G.'s birthday present. It didn't take long. So then we went into Vienna. It was scorching hot so we went to get some ice cream at Neilsen's. Jonathan was working and I just had to point it out to him that it was awesome outside. :P So then we walked around the place and went to some stores. Ali used to take dance lessons there so she was reminiscing a bit. Then I had to drop Ali off and went to Mike's. When I got there, only the guys were there. They were all playing American poker. Apparently, it had been going on since 11 or something like that and Mike and 2 other guys lost so they were out. It was around 3 so I was kinda amazed that the other 6 or 7 guys were still playing. Hmm...ok... And it's American poker. How long can a person play it??? If it was the Burmese version, it could take a long time cuz each game could go on up to half hour and it's 13 cards. I like the Burmese (British??) version better anyway. Mike and I played pool while the rest kept on playing cards. And omg, Mike's GOOD at pool!!! We played 3 games and he won all three and I was calling the shots the whole time. The first game, I called which ball he should strike and into what pocket and the other 2, I asked him to play with just one hand. He was amazing!!!!! I don't think I've ever seen someone that good. But I would say I'm not that bad either. I've only played maybe 10-15 games and I was pretty good. Haha...I'm not bragging. Mike said I'm pretty good for a beginner. He plays all the time!
So I came back home around 4:30 cuz we were going to Charlottesville. We got to UVA around 8ish cuz we had to go shopping for some of the other things that Wynn and Aye asked us to buy for WaterFest. They asked us to buy a million things and the car was packed. I was gonna read the history article but the weather was too nice outside and I just ended up enjoying the whole ride there. I even saw the sunset over the mountains. It was beautiful. And as soon as we got there, Aye and I were in our little world for a while. We had so much to talk about! *wink* Haha...we were crazy!! But everyone already knew that. :P After dinner, we ended up cooking till 1am! It was sooo tiring but it was fun as well. Aye and I were the ones who were mostly in the kitchen. So we were extremely tired and had to drag ourselves to the bathroom to wash up. That was BAD! Lol. :P
Alright, this entry is getting longggg...I'm gonna finish it up in another entry. Bye!
