Hi guyz,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day yesterday. I had fun! I'll talk more about that later. Right now, I'm just procrastinating my Sunday away. I need to work on my Extended Essay but I think this week won't be so bad so I'm kinda in an optimistic mood right now. :D That's good, right? With IB, optimism comes once in a while and you need to hold onto it when you can. HAHA! Well, let me tell you what I've been up to and what I've been thinking!
I got a little sick this past week but that was just cuz of the lack of sleep. I had a good night rest and the next day, I was feeling a lot better. I continued to get more sleep and by Friday, I was totally refreshed and I was really hyper! LOL. But that was good since Friday was a fun day. There was an Electives Fair for the underclassmen so we had a senior meeting. But before that, we had 20 minutes of first block and I had English. Mrs. Goodwin wanted to do something fun so we made Valentine's cards. We picked out a name from a bowl and then we made a card for that person. I got Jo and Mike G. got me. But it was supposed to be a surprise so we didn't know who got who until at the end of class when we each got a card. And I brought a huge bag of Hershey's Kisses so I gave them out and Mrs. Goodwin had some chocolate too. And then we all went to our meeting. And I gotta say...it was very sad. They talked about Grad Night and Graduation and what we will be doing that last week of school and tears just welled up in my eyes. 84 more school days left! That's not much and I know I'm gonna be crying. *sniff sniff* I'm gonna miss so many people!! They talked about a senior slideshow too that would have all the pix of our class. Ali and I decided that we would give them pix of our group. That would be fun. And we already know which ones!! *devilish laugh* LOL. Yeah, we'll see about that! *wink* Some people WILL freak!!! HAHAHAHA! The power is in our hands...
We also had a FAAD/SADD meeting about the Marshall Night at Vienna Teen Center. It's gonna be on March 13th, which is a Saturday. And the name we came up with is "Bands & Barbecue" (B&B) because we are gonna have battle of the bands with 4 or 5 bands from Marshall and then we'll have bbq. So it'd be fun. I can't wait! But we can only sell 75-80 people so it's gonna be first come, first serve. I'm in charge of it so I hope everything works out well. I'm already excited about it. :) So talk to me about reservations. We haven't advertised it yet and we haven't started selling tix yet. But if you tell me now, I can save you some tix! *wink* The rest of the day went by pretty quickly too. Math was very funny though. I don't know why but Math Methods I and II were combined and Mrs. Champ was teaching all of us. So the whole room was filled. It was different from our usual class of 9. But Bryan was there too and he and Emily were trying to play rock, paper, scissors to win back a pen and a quarter!?!?!? HAHA! And they made me the judge. But they didn't get to finish it though cuz the class started. But I was still sharing my big bag of kisses and passing it around. Bryan already had one before but I had given the bag to Matt and Mike who were sitting a little farther from us. And it was time to work in groups - 1 from MMII and 2 from MMI. So I turned around to work with these 2 juniors and Bryan out of nowhere goes, "Ei Ei, give me a kiss!" We all turned around to look at him and bursted out laughing. He realized what he had said and started laughing too. Sigh...Bryan....! *shaking head* HAHA!
Shrevewood was so much fun too! It was a very sunny day, around 55, I think. So we went out to the playground after some coloring inside. It was so cute too. I was with Marian and Sehal and Katya approached me, all bright and happy. I was surprised too cuz usually she is in a whiny mood and she is always off doing something by herself. This time, she wanted to play with me. That was so touching! She wanted to get onto my neck so I put her on my shoulders and with Sehal by my side, we went out to the playground. So the three of us played together and we talked a bit while they ate too. I had so much fun!! They were just full of energy! I love little kids. Afterwards, I came home and just chilled. I talked to various people for hours both on IM and phone, just catching up. I ended up staying up till around 1:30 talking to Aye. And then I had to get up early for Special Olympics practice which had moved up to 10-11:30 cuz the gym wasn't gonna be free at the regular time. So we had that practice and I'm so proud of Arjun who had improved by so much in the past year. He's actually following the game and everything. When he came to the first practice, he was even afraid of the ball! Now he's making all the baskets and dribbling...sigh...those are the kind of things that I love about these kind of work. Afterwards, I came home after talking to Ali for more than an hour out in the parking lot. We had so much to talk about. I watched "Head Over Heels" for the 3rd time while I had my lunch. It was so romantic!
I went to Ali's at 4 and I was the first one there. So we just chilled and this was when we picked out the pix!! Hehe. Meriem came after a while and we decided to go see "50 First Dates." Actually Ali and I wanted to see it and Meriem and Carolina wanted to rent some movies. But we persuaded them anyway. Carolina met us there. And afterwards, both of them were glad that we got them to go see it. It was soooo cute!!! I cried twice!! Haha...that's how emotional I get! Now, they are VERY sure that I WILL cry at graduation. Carolina said that I'd be crying a week before! Haha! That's probably true too! I recommend everyone to go see it. It's funny and yet so incredibly sweet! Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are both extremely talented! We went to Chili's afterwards but surprisingly it was packed! We had to wait a while before we got our table. And for dessert, of course we had to get Molten Chocolate Cake!!! Mmm...it was the best! We were so full! It was only 9 when we were done so we headed back to Ali's. We were truly INSANE last night and all the things that we did were incredibly funny! We were even questioning whether we were high or not, that is high on life!!! LOL! It was probably all the chocolate we ate! Or maybe it's just because all of us were together. We always get crazy when we are together. Sigh...I hope we stay the same always...I get so sad when I think about it. We are all gonna be going to different schools. I really hope that we stay friends always. I never want to lose them. They have been PERFECT friends! *sniff sniff*
After I got home, I was sooo sleepy but I saw a letter from Aye. I opened it and in it was a letter with all these cutesy pix and stickers. It was so incredibly sweet of her!! She is so creative too so it was just lovely. I was so touched by it! Thank you, Ma Aye! I LOVE YOU TOO!!! Sometimes, I am just amazed by how much love I receive from people around me. I'm so lucky to have so many loved ones. *sniff sniff* ALRIGHT...haha...I'm gonna stop this right here before it gets worse!! I'm trs trs emotional!! I'm a sucker for sweet things! LOL. Tootles for now!
~ Ei Ei :*
And I'd risk it all for you
To prove my love is true
I'd build a wall around my heart
That would only break apart for you |
