Hey,
"It's been a while since I..." last wrote in here. Haha...I dunno but this song just came to mind as I started this. It's good, right? Ugh...I don't think it's good to start an entry when I'm sick. I feel terrible. :( And I can't get sick now. I just have sooo much to do!! Haha...not so much that I can't write in here! :P Well, writing in here makes me happy. *wink* But I just feel really tired and my nose is congested and my eyes are watery. I just feel horrible overall. LOL...since I have started this entry in such a good note, I'll try to continue that! :P I have so much to talk about!
I had a busy weekend and I didn't even get to sleep much. That's why I feel so tired now. Well, last Friday there was sleet and ice. I got up to check the news but the schoolboard said there'd be a 2-hr delay. So I went back to bed. I got up again at 8:20 and checked again and it said schools were closed. But then I couldn't go back to sleep so I just got up. But I went to bed at 2 the night before talking to Aye so I was groggy. For the rest of the day, I just ended up talking to people and finishing this site! I'm so happy!!! I'm finally done with it! I'm so proud of it too. I hope you all like it as much as I do. Well, so the next morning, I had to get up early, 9:30. LOL...it's early for me!!! Well, I went to bed at 2 again talking with Aye yet again!!! I swear we have so much to talk!! But anyway, I had to go down to Arlington for a Duke interview. I wasn't nervous at all so that was cool. We just chilled at Starbucks and talked. Actually, we moved to Whole Foods across the street cuz Starbucks was crowded! This lady graduated 4 yrs ago but she spent 8 yrs in Duke and now she's applying for a law school. She was very nice. We just talked for about 40 minutes and she was very impressed with what I had to tell her. She was asking about my classes, my activities and my leadership positions so of course, I told her everything. She said I was definitely ready for college with such a challenging schedule. She told me about this first year campus at Duke and how it is just for first years and it's 2 miles away from the rest of the campus. They have transportation so it's not a problem to get around. But hear this. The 1st years get the best food, best gym, best library and best parking space. I was like oh yeah!! HAHA. They want the 1st years to feel at home so they get the best! That was cool. And I got lucky too. I asked her how many people she had interviewed this year and she told me she has only done 2 this year including me. Supposedly, there was a Dec. 1st deadline. If you applied later than that, you don't get interviews. Luckily for me, I turned in the first part of my application before then, so I got a chance for an interview. So that was nice.
So I got back home afterwards and thought I would take a nap. But I ended up chilling with my parents, talking with them. And then I prepared to go out to Paya Thai for an early dinner with Ali and Carolina. Everybody else had something came up at the last minute so it was just the three of us. The food was great and we had a blast talking about all sorts of things. Haha...especially the octagon, which I think has somehow turned into a decagon!! LOL! This is all so crazy!!! *wink* So then we went to the b-ball game at school against Madison. And I can't believe that we won against them!! I was thrilled! Throughout the whole game, we were winning by a lot and then in the last quarter, they kinda caught up to us. At one time, they were 2 points away from us. But our team did 2 3-pointers one after the other. The game was intense but we won!! Woohoo! I think it was all because I was there. My magical aura does crazy things, ya know? Haha. *wink* The game ended at 8 so we, along with Yoo-Mi, decided to go to Baskin-Robbins for some ice-cream. I'm telling you...we are INSANE! Lol.
When we got to the dance, everybody was kinda out in the hallway and not many people were dancing. This always seems to happen. We always end up starting the party. Ali wasn't in the dancing mood yet so I got Carolina to help me drag her onto the dance floor. It was just the 4 of us dancing for a while. There were a few people there too but they weren't really dancing. Luckily, Lexi was there too. She's a good dancer so I could jam with her. After a while, the dance floor filled up a bit. Meriem and the others arrived too so our little group got a little bigger. But there weren't many seniors there. The night before, I was trying to convince people to come to the dance since this was the last dance before prom. But people were busy or they just didn't want to come. But it was still fun. All the songs were hip-hop songs so Carolina and Ali didn't like it that much. They wanted some salsa or some rock songs. But I didn't mind. I loved the music! It was quite funny. I had to keep waking people up!! Not that they were sleeping! But one by one they were kinda slowing down and looked like they weren't having fun. So I had to spice things up a bit! :P I gotta say sorry to Lex though. I kept stepping on her foot like 4 times!!! And then Mai H. accidentally elbowed her as well. I dunno why but for the whole night Lex and I kept getting injured - to each other! Haha! FUN!!! *wink* We were dancing as a group but one time Lex and I were dancing together and this guy came and wanted to dance between us. I didn't even know him so I quickly moved away. Lex knew him so she danced with him for a bit. Another weird thing was that the dance ended at 11:15!! Which high school dance ends at that time??!? The DJ and the school probably had a miscommunication! So Carolina, Ali and I ended up going around Falls Church a bit. Izzy was showing us her old neighborhood and a particular house! Haha. That was fun!
So the next morning, I had to get up early again. We had a Special Olympics Basketball Tournament at West Springfield H.S. I didn't want to drive so my parents sent me and we picked up Ali as well. Of course, I had to make a stupid mistake by thinking it was at Lee H.S. so we ended up going there and found out it wasn't the one. Crazy me!! :P But we weren't that late. Our team was very good and we scored 28-6 to Fairfax and 71-28 to Chantilly. We creamed them!! I'm so proud of our atheletes! But the scorekeepers were horrible. They didn't watch the game carefully and they kept messing up the scores. I had to watch them to make sure they didn't make mistakes. But of course, they still did! For the second game, we actually scored 74 points but they messed up and when I talked to them, they said they didn't see the baskets!! GRR! But we still beat those teams by a lot so it didn't really matter, I guess. When we were there, I was thinking of how it would be next year. I would definitely miss coaching them. I had tons of fun last year and this year. Well, I could always come back I guess.
But that was that on Sunday. I didn't get back home till around 4 and I had to do so much French hw!! And this week is going by really slowly and yesterday, Mr. Baldwin scared us with so many IB stuff that are due in the next few weeks. It's gonna be hectic for a while. So I better go start my hw. Hope to talk to you soon! Bye now!

P.S. Ohh...I got into Mary Washington. As an Honors Admission Freshman! OOH! Haha...now I've got my back-up!! :P
