Hmm...where do I start? Another glorious snow day!!! Hehe...sorry, Richard! These things happen in high school in VA! LOL. But I'm loving this! Have we used up all the snow days though? Cuz I don't wanna go to school for an extra half-hour for a month like last year! Argh, that sucked!! But I am enjoying my day. :D It was crazy though. I got up at 6 and looked out the window. It didn't seem like anything bad had happened. And by "bad," I mean freezing rain or snow. So sadly, I went downstairs and switched on the news. There was a message scrollin at the bottom. So I thought, "Ok, a delay." And then it said schools were closed! I opened the door to see how bad the roads were and they didn't seem that bad. But I just shrugged and went back to bed. When I got up at 11:30 (hehe!), it was just raining. It's all GOOD! *wink*
These snow days give me a chance to write in here, huh? That's good. So what have I been up to? Oh yeah...We had a Special Olympics practice on Saturday and afterwards, Ali and I were hungry so we went to Starbucks first to say hi to Arash. He was working hard! There were so many people there. And as crazy as I am, I ordered my favorite drink - Chocolate Brownie Frappacino. Mmm...YUM! But it was FREEZING outside. I don't know why, I always stick to cold stuff!! So while Arash worked, we talked at a little table and talked for a while. Some interesting stuff though! *wink* Haha...VERY interesting stuff!! LOL! So anyway, we were there for a while and then we realized we were hungry. Haha! So we went to Burrito Brothers and ordered some delicious tacos! Oh yum, they were GOOD! So we talked some more before heading home. It was a nice conversation. We haven't had a chance to just be the two of us for so long that it was nice to hang.
The rest of the weekend was busy busy. And I had to deal with some financial stuff - FAFSA and CSS Profile and they were a nightmare!! There were so many questions that my dad and I had to answer. And the thing is I have to do this every year!!! UGH! But it was pretty ok cuz I was talking to a lot of people over the weekend. And yesterday went by surprisingly quick. Well, maybe not history! I sit right in front of him now and I don't wanna be rude when I yawn. :/ And it also means that I can't talk to Meriem anymore. Actually, mouth words. Haha...so...I'll see if I like my new seat. Oh, speaking of seats, I really like my new seat in English! I've got awesome people around me. Ali is so close and I can actually talk to her now! It's great!
So today, I was thinking of what I wanted to do with my FREE time! Haha...and I wanted to dance. I haven't dance in sooo long and since Winter Ball is this Saturday, I gotta get ready for it, right? Yes, we actually have the dance now, which is long overdue. But I'm excited anyway. Now I'm trying to convince people to go cuz this is our last year...*sniff sniff* And they didn't wanna go last year either but I got them there and they loved it. It was AWESOME! So we'll see about that. But the crazy thing is that, I've only danced for about 3 minutes and I started chatting with people. And I have been chatting non-stop for about the past 4 hrs!!! But it's hilarious! Apparently Craz E is in the house and no, that's not me. LOL! I'll refer to him as "this guy I know" since he doesn't wanna reveal his identity! He wants to mix boy-band music with the ghetto side. HAHA! Cuz he was insulting my boyz and I wouldn't have that!! But he thinks he can be a rapper but I definitely don't see that future. Haha...sorry, R! Uhh...I mean..."Arr"!! Haha :P And I got to talk with Norma too. It's been so long since I last talked to her and we got to catch up.
Well, I'm just rambling on today. I hope I have something exciting to talk about next time. Maybe the dance, perhaps? Hope so! Till then...looking forward to that dance!
