Another day off! I'm loving this! A 5-day weekend is awesome!!!! We go back to school for 2 days and then another weekend. This should be how it is with school. LOL! That'd be tight! But ya know what? I wish I was back in UVA though. Because of the storm, I had to cut my visit short and had to come back a day earlier. I was really mad with the storm. But since we have a snow-day today, it's not so bad. *wink* Haha...I hope we have a 2-hr delay tomorrow. Ya know, I'm gonna miss this in college. No matter how much it snows, you still have to go to class. But now, we are trying to get the best out of winter storms! Haha!
So after I wrote in here the other day, we decided to go to Rotunda, which is a famous building on the UVA campus, to take some pix. But then as we walked outside, we realized that it was freezing!!! LOL! We didn't know how cold it was when we were just chilling inside. But we were out there for about 30 seconds and we realized we won't be able to walk around in that cold. So we got into the car and drove to the mall instead. We shopped for a while and got some good stuff. I was even looking through some prom dresses but I didn't find anything I like. I have a mental image of what I want but it's hard to find it. I can't wait for prom but I don't even know when it is. The juniors are not doing a pretty good job. We don't even have Winter Ball this year. What's up with that?? Grr..It's our last year and we should have as many dances as possible. Agree? Anyway, so we shopped a bit and looked outside and it was already snowing pretty hard. We stayed for a while longer and when we came out, all the cars were covered with snow! It was so pretty but going back to the dorm was hard. The roads were icy and the snow was falling hard. But we got back and since we were starving, we had a few munchies. Afterwards, we were just chilling in Wynn's room until she had to go to a dance class. So Aye and I left and went down into the lounge. There were some detours involved! Haha. But that was fun! *wink* After dinner, we watched "About A Boy" in the TV room while eating Starbucks Mocha Fudge Almond ice-cream! Ohh...mmm...delicious!! People kept coming in to ask what we were watching. The movie was really good. I really liked it. But you know what was on TV after we finished the movie? Mr. Bean!!! AHHH! I haven't seen it since Singapore. Aye and I were just laughing uncontrollably. It was awesome. I LOVE Mr. Bean. He's so funny!! Those of you who don't know it...it's a British comedy. He doesn't talk at all but all his actions are soo soo funny! I gotta find that channel here and maybe I can watch it. Hmm..but that was so much fun!
It was snowing the whole night! We couldn't go out and have a snowball fight cuz it was sooo cold! I think it was only around 8 degrees that night. :( Too bad! Haha...I would have won it too! *flex muscles!!!* Who says girls can't win snowball fights? *wink* But instead, we just stayed in for the night and talked. One of the windows was opened cuz otherwise, it gets way too hot cuz of the heater. And we could hear people screaming and laughing. At first, we thought they were having a snowball fight but turns out it was a Frat party from across the road. I was amazed that we could hear them.
The next morning, I went along to Aye's classes. There was so much snow and ice and it was FREEZING! But there were so many people going back and forth everywhere. I was joking with Aye how I've experienced all kinds of weather at college. I have been there during spring, summer, fall and now winter. I've experienced all the college experiences. Well, except rain. I haven't walked to a class in the rain yet. But hopefully, that won't happen the next time. Wait a sec. I have walked in the rain at UVA. One time, when we were coming back from grocery shopping. It was about 5 minutes away. But we had to walk back in the rain. And then that night, when we went to a play. That was during Spring Break. So yeah, I have had all kinds of experiences. Well, I didn't like walking in the muddy snow. Aye's Chinese class was cancelled so we stayed in the computer lab and then we went to her Chem class. It has about 170 students, I think. So it was pretty big. I listened to the professor for a while but everything was confusing. So I started reading Shaun Breslin for history. Haha...it was funny. I was kinda freaking out cuz it seemed to me like the professor was looking at me. And I was way up the stairs!! After class, we went to PAV to eat some sushi and then we headed back. As soon as we got back, my dad had left a message. So I talked to him and he told us that the storm was gonna be really bad that night and the next day and wanted us to come back. I was mad at the weather. I really didn't want to go home. But I had to come back. The weather wasn't so bad on the drive home. And nothing happened that night and I was definitely angry.
Plus, I terribly missed Aye too. I felt weird being at home again. I don't know why. Maybe it's because whenever I go to UVA, I'm with Aye so all the times that I go to UVA is connected to all the good times I've had. I felt so lonely all of a sudden and tears started to come. Haha...sometimes I get sooo emotional about every little thing. So as soon as I got home, I called her and talked for about an hour and a half. And then later that night, we talked for about like 7 hrs!!! LOL! We never finish talking. I ended up talking to her last night for another 3 hrs till 2am! I knew we wouldn't have school today considering the weather conditions. And that paid off. No school today. Wahoo! So I slept in till 11:30. It was nice! Hehe...so yeah, I'm just chilling. I guess I'm gonna update my site a bit. I'm pretty much done with a lot of stuff. Now, all I have left to do is the Picture section. I'm gonna tackle that next. So wait for it. It might take a while though. Well, that's it for now. Talk to y'all later!
