Pretty long since I last wrote. Sorry! I've been really busy. Last week being Homecoming Week and SATs and blah, blah, blah...it's been crazy!! And I've sooo much to talk about. So I might have to separate this into 2 entries. Well, we'll see. I hope you guys haven't missed me too much yet. Haha...*wink*
So where do I start? Oh right, my birthday party!! I loved it! Everyone had a great time and so did I. Malcolm and Sky were tricked, of course! And that was hilarious. Sorry guys!! But Ali came up with this idea that I should ask them to dress up formally while the rest of us are in party clothes. I didn't want to do that to them but the rest of the girls all agreed that it would be a fantastic idea. I kept on wanting to tell them even that afternoon before I came back home. I felt so guilty and mean. But it all turned out to be really funny and the thing is I got it all on tape! Muahahaha! They both arrived at different times and they were so confused as to whether they were supposed to dress up at all. When Sky arrived, Sylvie who had just came from Powderpuff practice went to open the door while I was recording with the camera. Unforgettable moment! HAHA! Malcolm had even gone to the dentist in his suit! I'm SOO sorry! So now, they're planning on a revenge and I'm so paranoid right now. Haha. That just shows how inexperienced and unprepared I am at pulling pranks on others. I'm a sweet little angel! Hehe...():> But we all had a great time. Arash couldn't come cuz of work so he didn't get the prank. Too bad! The guys had to go back pretty early though cuz they had to do something. But it turned out to be more fun. We had a blacklight and the music was loud and it was just us, 6 girls! Pretty crazy stuff and it was SOO much fun. We were laughing and dancing the entire time. And we also played a game called Guesstures and that was fun as well. Of course, my team won! Woohoo! Haha...but it was just an unforgettable night. Kinda sad that next year, we would all be far apart...*sniff sniff*
So Homecoming Week. Monday was Pajamas Day and of course, I was in my PJ's. I even wore this incredibly cute slippers. They are 2 little bears and there is a button on one of their ears. When you press it, it says, "I love you. I love you." Haha...it was a big hit that day. Everyone wanted to press it. And a lot of people were shocked when I first did it. Ify was sitting beside me in TOK and she kept on wanting to press it while Mr. Baldwin was talking. LOL. Tuesday was Wacky Hair Day and I had somewhat of a wacky hair. I'm so bad with doing stuff with hair and yet I have such long long hair. Crazy, isn't it? Wednesday was Farmers' Day and I had 2 braids and dressed up in a cowboy kinda style. I guess it worked! *shrug* Thursday was interesting. It was Superhero Day and our senior class was X-Men. I dressed up as Rogue. Green outfit, yellow on top of it and a brown jacket. I had gloves and Sylvie painted one long strip of white in my hair. I actually liked the white strip. It was such a contrast to my black hair. I had fun. I had superpowers for the day. *wink* Friday was, of course, Spirit Day and I was dressed in baby blue.
One bad thing happened though. That Thursday afternoon, I was at dance practice as usual. We had been practicing everyday for 2 hrs each for about 2 weeks. And I was really excited about performing at the pep rally on Friday. Unfortunately, the administartion decided that we would not be performing because they felt we weren't abiding to the club rules. Since it's a club, we weren't supposed to have try-outs and we weren't supposed to cut people. We had had 2 try-outs and only 8 people out of 20 people were left. But someone's parent called in and said her daughter was discriminated. This alarmed the administration and they cracked down on us. Our sponsor hasn't been to any of our practices nor our try-outs. We were unsupervised and we were not following the rules of being in a club. We were devastated! We had been practicing so much and they told us the day before our performance. Tanya was crying and we were so upset. She put so much work into it and she didn't even feel right to cut some people. She didn't want something like that to happen and it sneaked up on all of us. While I was at the pep rally the next day, I was really upset that I was up on the bleachers instead of being in the middle of the gymnasium dancing. The next pep rally would be in January or February and that means we would have to wait 3 or 4 more months. So I don't know what's gonna happen with the Dance CLUB! We had a meeting with one of the administrator today and he kept on emphasizing that it was a CLUB and not a TEAM. Oh...grr...I was so pissed off! Whew! But anyway, I had fun at the pep rally. I was holding up the senior banner and our class had so much spirit this time, it was amazing! And we won the battlecry and of course, won the Homecoming Week. Woohoo!! Victory is sweeeet! Haha.
The football game that night was fun! Even though we lost 48-0 (I'm not hoping anything from our team anymore), I was dancing with the marching band!! That's more exciting than watching the game. The marching band is awesome! And of course, during 4th quarter Ali and I were singing and dancing. I can't wait for another home game. I had a blast!! Ali, you know what I'm talking about! The chapstick is very handy! *wink wink* HAHA! But of course, I had to come home and sleep cuz of the SATs the next morning. I think I did pretty okay. I don't wanna jinx anything. So I'll just wait for the results. We were done around 12:30 and I got back home at 1pm. By that time, Wynn and Aye had already arrived and they were chilling at home. It was their fall break. So I talked to them a bit and had lunch and spent a few hours talking with Aye. And then I had to leave around 5:30 cuz I was meeting Ali, Carolina and Yoo-Mi at Chili's. The food was great and we went to Yoo-Mi's house to get ready. Her house is huge! And I love her room!! I especially like the mirrored-wall. It would be great to dance in front of it. We were just having fun getting ready and taking pix and talking. Later when we were all ready, we went downstairs and had apple cider and some snacks. We ended up talking in British accent for a bit. It was cool. We were all so elegant and beautiful, sipping "wine." Haha...*shaking head*
But we got to the dance around 9:30 and not many of our classmates were there yet. The room was filled with lowerclassmen. All the upperclassmen wants to come late to make a grand entrance. But we were there early cuz we were just so excited about it. Our friends arrived during the next hour and everyone looked so good! We danced till around 12 and I was kinda mad that they changed the times. It was supposed to go on till 1am but they changed it. *pout* But we took the chance to go to McDonalds to get some sundaes. Mmm...yummy! It was a nice way to end the day.
The next day, I spent the whole day watching movies and eating junk food with Aye. It was just a non-stop thing. We ate a whole bucket of Mocha Fudge Almond ice-cream, had fudge, chocolate bars...haha...all the unhealthy food! But they were all good! :D She brought home all the 10 episodes of Band of Brothers. We watched them the whole day but only finished the 6th. I was getting tired and it was just so sad! But it's a really good mini-series. War movies are so good to watch yet so saddening. But I loved spending time with Aye. We talked till around 2 and by that time, I couldn't open my eyes. Both Aye and Wynn went back to UVA this morning. It was awesome to have them home. So now I won't probably see them for another 3 weeks. And I miss them already. *sniff sniff*
So now, this week is gonna be over pretty quickly since we only have 3 more days left. And tomorrow is Carolina's birthday!!! It's gonna be great! And she's so young...she's only turning 17!! Gosh, I feel old! Haha. But we've planned some things for her so it would be awesome! Well, I've updated on a lot of things and got them all in one entry. I'm so proud! HAHA. But yeah, I must go now. I have something to do for Carolina. Tootles. Till later!
