YAY!!! No more work! Yep, that's right. I'm done with work! Yesterday was my last day and even though it was a bit sad, I got over it! Hehe! :P Yeah, that fast, huh? Haha. Well, because I didn't have to go work this morning, I could get up at around 11:45 instead of 9am. So that's always a plus when you can sleep in, isn't it? :P Speaking of sleeping in...you all have found out about the new schedule for this school year, right? Wow, our senior year is going to be so nice! Shorter classes and an hour of lunch for the whole school and school starts at 8am on Fridays! How cool is that? It's gonna be TIGHT! :O Oops...I hope I'm not getting back into the "tight-phase!" Haha. But yeah, tight, tight, tight, yo! :P
So yeah...school's starting again in a week and a half. Ugh! Can you believe it? Summer is almost over. Why is it that the fun always goes by so quickly and we get stuck with work all the time? Sigh...oh well, it's gonna be senior year! I'm trying so hard to stay positive. But ya know, I think it will be awesome. I'm going to see a lot of people that I haven't seen in the past 2 months. Has it really been that long? Seriously, where did the time go? But yeah, that will be fun. :D
So yeah, Aye is leaving in just a few short days. She's going back on Sunday. We have 3 more days together. I can't believe this. *sniff sniff* It's gonna be tough without her again. I don't know how it would be this time. I know last year was totally hard to bear. I was just bawling hard! And the whole floor was flooded and we had to get new carpets...NAH! Haha...a little exaggeration here. :P But it was really upsetting to see her go. *sniff sniff* Well, I'll be taking more trips down there this year. We saw each other every 3 or 4 weeks last year but now she has taken a job and it's on Saturday mornings so I think I would be the one visiting her every so often. Well, that would be fun, won't it? :)
So apart from all that sad stuff, what have I been doing lately? Hmm...that's a good question. What have I been doing? Haha. I can't remember! Wow, great memory! *wink* I know we had our uncle and aunt stayed over the weekend. Yeah, ok, let's talk about that since that's the only thing I can remember. *chuckle* But yeah, this couple is the one I was talking about from the Ohio visit, the ones we stayed with. Uncle is our dad's first cousin so we're distant relatives but it's still nice since all our relatives are in other countries. They came Friday night and we just talked and watched some videos that our dad made of us. Oops! Did I mention of us? Hehe...:D Well, you're not seeing them! He loves video-taping things. So whenever we go on trips, he'd be filming. And we would be running away! Haha. But not on all the ocasions. But you know how it is. It's awkward when someone's taping you. Well, maybe it's just me then. But not all of it is bad. You're still not seeing them! So yeah, we did that and turned in early. The next day, we played poker all day! They didn't want to go out and just wanted to spend time with us. So that's what we did. It's not the kind of poker it's played here though. It's 13 cards and each game goes about 15 to 20 minutes. It's so much fun!! And we play with money. Not too much, but you can still win or lose pretty badly ($10) when it's played for a long time and you have a lot of players. And we had 6 players and we played the whole day, had dinner and then played again. Aye won $21 and I lost $3 so it wasn't that bad for me. I had won in the afternoon and then lost during the night-games. Aye and I went out to play some frisbee to stretch out a bit before dinner as well and that was a good break. But yeah, they left on Sunday morning. And for the rest of the day, I just watched TV. But I did finish Portrait that day. And I've started on Hamlet now. So I dunno how long this book will take.
Haha...can you believe it? Summer is almost over and I haven't even had a chance to work on my website that I've been talking about. I will definitly work on it later when I have time. But I have scanned some pix from Prom and Gettysburg trip and a couple pix from the Bay. So we'll see how everything goes. I have signed up for a guestbook but I don't know where to put it yet. I can't put the link up in every one of these entries now, can I? So yeah, that will be coming...umm...in a while...I think...HAHA! But keep reading these journals and I'll keep writing in here.
