It's already August. Time flies, doesn't it? Or is it really the time that goes by quickly rather than the substance that's us seem to think time flies? Time and space are just what we created. They do not really exist, do they? Hmm...OK...haha....so what'd you think about that! Haha. :P You probably already know that I'm trying to imitate "Sophie's World," which I'm going to finish tonight! Only about 50 pgs left and it's getting really interesting. Yeah, it was my goal to finish it by tonight. I started last week so that was pretty good, isn't it? *wink*
Well, apart from reading for a bit at night, it's been pretty cool this week, apart from getting sick that is. :( Yeah, I got stomach-aches on Sunday and Monday. Ugh...it was horrible. But I'm feeling better so that's ALWAYS good!! Hehe..:D
Tuesday was extremely good! I had a dental appointment early in the morning and so did Aye. I decided to take the day off to spend some time with her since it was her off day. Don't worry, I told my boss about it 2 working days beforehand. And he knew what I was doing. My boss is a very cool guy. He asks me to tell him if I want to go somewhere and want to take the day off. So I can always take a day off when I want to. Isn't that nice? :) So he knew exactly what I was off doing. And for the record, I've never skipped anything without a reasonable excuse. Don't you know me already? I'm just too good to do something like that. ():) <-- that's me, an angel!! HEHE. :D
So anyway, we came back home and had some lunch and headed out to Providence bank. And I opened my first checking account!! *beaming* Yay!! It was exciting but since I'm not yet 18, they wouldn't give me a credit/debt card. So I'm going to have to wait 2 more months for that. *pout* Yay, 2 more months and I'll be 18. Can you believe that? Wow! Ok, ok...I'm getting off-track. But it's ok. Hehe! Well, the funny thing was that the guy who was helping me kept on misspelling my name! He asked for my ID 3 times to correct it!!! But finally, he got it right and that was after about 20 minutes or so. But Aye and I were talking most of the waiting time so it wasn't so bad. And the guy was nice too.
So after that, we went to see "Pirates of the Carribean." And guess who we met. Mike Gully and Aline. So I talked to Mike for a while. And then the movie started. It was a pretty funny movie. I enjoyed it but it wasn't all that. Johnny Depp was great! But Orlando Bloom needed to work more on his acting. Sorry Lindz, but he does! :/ But he was hot though! I think he should just be Legolas. He looks so much better with blond hair and blue eyes. *dreaming* Hehe...well, I did watch "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship" on Saturday night and he was...WHEW! Anyway, haha...we went shopping at Tyson's afterwards and had some Cinnabons and pretzels...mmmm....food.... Haha! But I just bought a pair of pants. Nothing much. I didn't find anything that I like. :( So anyway, Aye is asking me to cut this short. She says I'm typing nonsense into my journal. So I gotta stop here about that! GRRR...! Hmm! *pout*
Ali came by on Wednesday night too. And we gotta look thru each other's senior pictures. It was fun. And we gotta talk too but she had to leave so it wasn't a long time. But it still was nice.
Well, I gotta go. I'm going to St. Matthews Beach tomorrow. Or the bay. Hmm...I'm not sure yet. Well, we'll see how it is. Till later!
