Wow...I don't know why but since I last wrote that work days go by pretty quickly, it hasn't. Haha. Yeah, it goes by so slowly that I'm even falling asleep. I even have to shake my head vigorously to keep myself awake. *shaking head, now in a slow movement* :P But other than work, my days have been pretty good. I've been having fun and enjoying the wonderful freedom (sorta!) ^_^
I've been trying to read "Sophie's World" but...haha...I'm only on the 34th page! And it's been a week! I mean, it's not that I don't like it. I think it's a great book and so much philosophical stuff. It's just that I just can't get into it just yet. I would read some of it and then start to think on my own and I would never be able to read it. It's crazy! But I think I would be able to read it. I have faith. Haha. :P *wink*
This past Saturday was a good day. Daniel came by and we played badminton, frisbee and just goofed around. Daniel wanted to be teamed with Aye and to play against me! Cuz I told him that I used to play in school back in Singapore. But no, we just played one-on-one. He wasn't too bad. He was pretty good. So then, we had lunch at Silver Diner, which was fun! Haha, you know why, Ma Aye! *wink* And then, we watched Mulan because of that one line that both Aye and I remember and say a lot: "I let them slip right through my fingers...!" LOL. :D But that was fun. We went to play mini-golf afterwards and of course, Daniel won. Aye and I tied for 2nd place. Haha...well, of course, there were only 3 of us so we couldn't have gotten a 36th or a 123rd place! So 2nd place wasn't bad, right, Ma Aye? Haha! Then, we cooked dinner and Daniel diced the onions. I told him I would cry if I had to do that, literally! I'm so bad with onions. All the waterworks...*shaking head* Haha. You don't want to see me like that! :P Dinner was great and we talked some more afterwards.
Sunday was pretty relaxing. I was home alone and I was gonna do some reading and start on my essays BUT I procrastinated. Hehe. :D I talked to some people on IM, talked to Lynn on the phone and looked through all the albums. Wow, everyone has changed so much! It was pretty relaxed. And then I watched "The Net" and I got scared from it. It's pretty creepy to think that people can just erase you. And of course, since I was alone I got pretty scared. The phone rang and I went to pick it up and I heard this screeching dialing computer noise. I went to pick up another phone and it was fine so I guess it was just the phone. But it freaked me out!
Oh yeah, I watched another movie that night too. Oh my gosh, it was so romantic! I think the most romantic movie I've seen in a while. It was "Lucky Seven" and it was on abcfamily channel. Both the actress and the actor were so cute! I can't remember the girl's name but the guy's Patrick Dempsey. Awww...it was so sweet. I was feeling all googly and Aye was teasing me about it. Haha. But it was so cute! I was smiling the whole time. And speaking of smiling, I got my senior portraits taken on Friday morning. It was great! I felt like a princess or a celebrity doing a photo shoot. "Turn this way," "look that way," "move your chin up a bit." Oh, it was fantastic. I was feeling all nervous and excited all at the same time. And then afterwards, I had to go to work. I went in at 12pm, 2 hrs late. But I couldn't help stop smiling. It was freaky. After smiling for half an hour, my smile was stuck! I was smiling for another 2 hrs and I had to hide my face. If my colleagues saw me, they would probably think I'm crazy! LOL. But yeah, I hope the pictures come out great. *pray*
So after a great weekend, I went back to work yesterday, which was so slow! But when I got home, I watched "Little Women" with Wynn. Oh, I forgot to mention that she got back home on Sunday night. She will be staying for the week. But oh my gosh! The movie is so great! It was fantastic. I've never seen it or read the book. And it's just like the 4 of us sisters. I loved it! And Meriem called during the movie so I had to tell her that I would call back as soon as the movie was over. :( But she didn't mind. We talked for 2 hrs afterwards, just catching up. So that was good as well. Hmm...I'm so optimistic. Everything seems to be good for me, huh? Haha...*wink*
And tonight, our whole family went out for dinner at Chili's and had a wonderful dinner, ending with THE Molten Chocolate Cake, of course! By the time we were done, we all were so full...haha...the dessert was so rich but it's so good! And then we went to visit some family friends. We haven't seen them in a long time. So it was nice to see them again and just have fun. And it's raining so hard. Or it was just now when we were coming home. We were all dressed up and of course, we were all running in the rain! Haha...Ma Aye!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! My gosh, I was cracking up! But I won't put it in here to spare her embarrasement! *wink* Hehe!! :D So I'm back now at home and it's almost midnight. I just thought I needed to come in here and update a bit. Cuz I'm gonna be out again tomorrow night. Shopping!!! Yay! Hehe. :D So that will be fun. I can't wait. So till later!
