Hi!!!

Hmm...being lazy again...haha...but yeah, haven't been online much this past week too. I was "busy" watching tv and just goofing around and work. Speaking of work, it's going pretty well. It's boring but it keeps me pretty busy and so my day goes by pretty quickly. So it's not so bad and the people that I get to talk are nice. And there is a new lady at our office and I get to "train" her a bit and that was kinda cool. Hehe. Yeah, me and my authority!!! LOL. And we get to talk a bit and she's nice so that's good.
Didn't do much the whole week except watched movies. Tons of them! Haha. :) But on Saturday, Aye and I moved some furniture around and did some cleaning. Wow, such good daughters! Haha. *gloating* Yeah, yeah...ANYWAY, we're just thinking of redecorating the house a bit. Aye is free on Saturdays and Tuesdays so the only time I get to see her is Saturday. And since only the two of us usually move the furniture and make some changes, we had to do it. It was tiring though. After a full week of work, we had to work some more at home. *pout* But it was fun. Cuz I made some tapioca and coconut milk and we had that as an afternoon snack after working so much. Mmm..yum! :D And that night was wonderful. After a whole week of thunderstorms and "tornadoes" it was cool and breezy. So we sat out on our lawn and watched the clouds rolled by and talked a bit. It was really nice. Mmm...sigh...
And speaking of storms...Thursday night was so scary. There was a huge storm. There were supposed to be tornadoes down near Fredericksburg so I didnt think it was gonna be bad near us. But around 10, we were watching "Blue Streak" (Ohh...such a funny movie!) and suddenly we saw this bright light right in front of our house and all the lights went out. We thought the lightning had struck something across the street. We went to the windows to see what happened a bit later. WARNING: Never ever go and peek out the window during a thunderstorm/tornado!!!! We were trying to see what happened and it was pitch black so we couldnt see anything. Suddenly, there was this blinding bright light and I actually thought I died! I'm serious! I thought I was dead and then when I realized I was still breathing, I thought I was blind. Whoa. But I wasn't hurt. But I'm never gonna do that again anymore. Haha. That sure was scary. The blackout lasted for about 3 hrs and the rain was still pouring down when I went to sleep. And the stream at the back of our house that is about 3 feet down the slope was almost overflowing. That night was crazy and in the morning, it was as if nothing had happened.
And because of that I actually had a dream last night about tornadoes. My family was right at home and from our kitchen window, I saw these 2 big twisters far in the distant and the whole sky was red. Really freaky. So we all went down to the basement and didn't know what to expect. I had looked out the window just before I had gone down and the twisters were coming our way and it was getting close. So we were all sitting on the floor and the twisters were just about a few houses down now and the noise was unbearable. It was so loud and so scary. And that was when I woke up. Whew. Thankfully. But then when I went back to sleep, that dream seemed to have went on but to a different dream. It was connected in some ways that I don't remember now. But in this one, there were a lion and a cat fighting. Probably because I watched the Animal Planet on Saturday about this dog and a lion being friends and they were playing. But anyway, there was another animal which I cannot remember now. The cat was hissing and being a cat and the lion which was sleeping somewhat started to get angry. I was watching them a few feet away and I was thinking of what to do if I get in the way of those two. And just then, the lion got my attention and started to run after me. I didn't know what to do. I thought of playing dead but then I thought that would only work for bears. A lion would tear me apart anyway if it thinks I'm dead. So I ran into a building which wasn't that far. And there were some wooden chairs so I picked up one and put it in front of me to use it as a shield. Meanwhile, I'm trying to get help by screaming "Lion! Lion!" But my voice was hoarse and it was very light. I couldn't even hear my cry for help. There were many people around but they couldn't hear me or seem to be interested in what was happening to me. Some people who saw me defending myself against a 300 pound lion didn't seem to care. They just continued with what they were doing. And of course, the chair was such an easy obstacle for the lion. The last thing I saw was its big mouth opening and its sharp teeth coming at me and that was when I woke up. WHEW!!!! Oh my god...now that I'm remembering my dream, it creeps me out! My heart is beating so fast. It is unbelievable. Wow. Two nightmares in one night? *sniff sniff* Whoa...that was crazy!
OK, I must change subject now. I'm scared for myself that was in those dreams. Haha...alright, well, let me talk about yesterday which was Sunday. Ok...calm down...whew...alright...So yesterday, I was going to get started on my reading a bit and some other homework. I cooked some dishes and had my lunch and was just watching tv a bit. My parents had gone out to do some shopping just a while before that. There was a knock on the door and I thought it was my parents who had forgotten something. I went to open the door and there was Ali! She surprised me again. She started to laugh when she saw me cuz I was still in my pajamas. Haha...it was supposed to be a lazy day. But she came in and we talked for a while and decided to do something. I didn't want to read. I wanted to procrastinate as much as possible so I "quickly" changed. Haha. Ali didn't think it was quick but it was! I only took about 15 minutes and that was because all my stuff was around the house. I'm temporarily staying in Aye's room so half of my stuff was in her room and the rest was in mine. So I was going back and forth, back and forth to get everything I needed and had to make sure the back door was closed and everything. Anyway, we went to Reston Town Center and got lost a bit in Vienna. We were chit-chatting way too much and passed the road that we were going to take. We didn't realize that until after 2 or 3 miles so we had to turn back and look for the road. But the ride there was splendid! Hehe. The wind was cool and we had taken a smaller road instead of the highway so we were surrounded by trees and fresh air. It was really nice. We got there before we knew it and found that there was a festival. Just our luck! We got a funnel cake and got some free samples of Italian Ice. We walked around and didn't find many things that were appealing so we just went to the real shops that were around. We went to Express and tried on some clothes and Ali bought a pretty blouse and we just went on to some other shops but since it was Sunday, all the shops closed at 6pm. So we got some ice-cream. Mine was coffee ice-cream with hot fudge, caramel, almonds and whipped cream. YUM! Ali got chocolate and vanilla swirls in a wafer cone. And there was a concert. This band was playing some oldies and some Elvis' songs so we listened to the music while we ate. There were a lot of people there. Some couples were dancing as well and that was so cute.
We came back home and the ride back was so much more enjoyable. We blasted oldies and sang along to some songs with the windows down and cruised through the woods. It was so much fun! When we were passing through some neighborhoods, we had to tone down a bit cuz there were people who were gardening or strolling and didn't want to disturb them. At first, we were just blasting the music and we passed this man who was gardening and he looked up to see because I don't think anyone blast oldies really loudly and sing along. It was so funny. So we got back to Ali's house and she wanted to go to the pool so that was what we did. I didn't have my bathing suit so I just sat at the edge and dipped my legs in the pool and relaxed. It was a nice way to end the weekend.
But the weekend wasn't over yet. I got home and I talked to Lynn and Wynn for a bit and both were busy. Wynn is thinking of coming back some time next week so that would be cool to have her back for a while again. And then Aye and I watched this movie on TV, "Prince Charming." The actor was Euan from "Off Centre" and he was so charming with his British accent. *daydreaming* He was a prince who was cursed to be a frog because he didnt appreciate true love. Yeah, that fairy tale thing. But he met a girl in modern time and falls in love. It was pretty weird but it was sweet as well. It was more of a fantasy than a romance. But we stayed up till 2am watching movies. And spent another hour talking so didn't get to sleep until 3. And I was so sleepy today at work. Luckily, my boss wasn't there. He took Loren to visit some colleges. I was typing and my head was falling a bit and when no one was around, I had to slap myself a bit to wake myself up. I sang some songs and luckily, stayed awake. Haha...so yeah, that's what I've been up to lately. Haven't talked to many people or seen them in a while. Well, I'll talk to you soon. A bientot!
