Haven't talked in here for a while. Well, as you know, I'm a working lady now. :D Hehe...10 to 6. So I'm quite busy and when I come home I don't really wanna type and look at the computer screen again after doing it for the whole day. So you know how I feel. But it's Friday now and I survived my first week of work!!! Woohooo...this calls for a celebration! Well, Ali and I are gonna do that sometimes this weekend. We both just finished our first week of work. We're working ladies!! But we also have other stuff to do so I don't know how that's gonna go. But next Thursday, I'm hoping to get out of work and go with Ali to her job. She's a camp counselor in McLean. It's a day to day job, not day and night. I hope it'll be okay with my boss but he's so cool. He's lenient with me since he knows me! Hehe. It's great! He's a nice guy.
Well, just some blips on what I've been up to, apart from working diligently at my job. :) Well, I'll tell you a little about how I like my job. It's ok. It's kinda fun but it gets a little boring cuz I have no one to talk to. :( Everyone's busy busy so I don't even get to talk. And knowing me, that's a big problem! LOL. But Loren is gonna come in and work on some days so maybe I'll have her to talk with. She's gonna come in on her first day of work for this summer on Monday so we'll see how that goes. *wink*
But yeah...just been talking with people on IM a bit and Aye. She's working too so we're both busy busy and tired. But we still make sure we have time to talk. Stay up till 1! Haha. Yup. That's about it. We stay up and talk. Well, it's fun and we don't see each other the whole day so might as well sleep less. Sleeping is a waste of time when you think about it. Even though, it re-energizes you, you lose all that time to do something else. But yeah, that's just me. Aye says sleep time is about 1/3 of our lives and that we shouldn't sleep so much. Hmm...well, something to think about. Haha. I know, I know...sleeping is good. Hmm...LOL!! :P
But yeah...so work was boring and Loren came back from Virginia Beach yesterday and came to the office to see her father and me. We talked a bit and wanted to do something for the night. My boss said I could leave early so I left around 4:30 and we drove back to her house. We went grocery shopping a bit and prepared dinner. I had dinner there and it was definitely weird to have dinner with my boss! It used to be a bit intimidating before he was my boss cuz he has a stern face. Being from the military before, he scares me a bit. So it was awkward a bit but we got to talking and it wasn't that bad. After dinner, Loren and I went out to buy some ice-cream and Carolina was gonna come over around 8 to watch a movie with us. And we got back just in time to find Carolina at the door. Just the right timing, huh? But yeah...haha...we watched "Die Another Day." We all thought that it was entertaining but a lot of the stuff doesn't make sense at all. Some of the stunts were just impossible!! So we were laughing about that. I thought it was one of the worst James Bond movies but that's just me. The technology was impressive though. I gotta admit that. Especially the CAR!!! :D And of course, I gotta mention the British accents! *wink* Hehe. That was great! So Loren sent us home afterwards and I didn't get home till late. But it felt great! She whisked me away from my work early and spent some quality time together so it was great! I got a chance to catch up with her after such a long time. :)
So now, it's Friday night, actually Saturday morning. Haha...but yeah...I'm glad this tiring week is over and I'm looking forward to this weekend. I feel kinda bad that I don't have much time for fun. I want to see and hang out with a lot of people or just talk to them this summer. We'll see about that. Hopefully, everything will work out just fine and I'll have an awesome summer before our senior year!!!! Well, I gotta get some sleep now. Talk to you soon and hopefully see you as well! *wink*
