previous day's entry June 12th, 2003 next entry
Hey all,

What's up everyone? I'm good right now. Don't have much for tomorrow except a Vocab test for English. Other than that, the rest of the day seems to be pretty free. Hmm...I thought I would be really busy last night studying for the HOA final but turns out it only took a little longer than an hour so I spent rest of the time chilling.
Well, I only got back at around 4 cuz of Earth Force and FAAD/SADD meetings. E-Force was good. We had some time to chill cuz it was the end-of-the-year party. But grr...FAAD/SADD wasn't too good. Well, the president and vice-president have left the club since they are seniors. It was only me left from this year's officers. But we were brainstroming for ideas and (there were only 5 of us) some people came up with all these ideas to improve the club next year. But the thing is that those people never even showed up for activities and there they were, talking about what should have been done this past year and how it was a failure. That made me angry. They are all talk, talk, talk and insulting other people and they haven't done a single thing this year. GROWL! And plus, they want to have an executive board where they can be officers as well. But seriously, they have no idea what to do and they want to be officers?? And I've put tons of hours into the club since Freshman year and Cathy (Pres) had taught me some stuff over the year and even gave me all her stuff about the club for next year. Now, I may sound conceited and arrogant but I think I'm qualified to be President. All I want is fairness. I don't mind them as other officers but if they don't want to work and just come to the meetings, that's not fair. Meriem and Carla have done things for the club. I would want them to be officers, not just a bunch of talkers! ARGH!!! I'm so mad. It's just really frustrating. And the sponsor seems to like them cuz they are her Pre-Bio students. Ok...cool down...cool down...re-living the meeting isn't too good. I'm getting mad again. Argh!
Ok, well onto a little bit more better things. Haha. :P Today was ok. We had a sub in Math and we had to watch a documentary on John Nash (About the guy from "Beautiful Mind"). It gave me some time to study and look over the notes for HOA. It wasn't interesting so all of us who had HOA next, were studying. Haha. And so finally, HOA came. I thought I did well. I was prepared for both essays, thanks to Desmond. He hooked me up! :D But I forgot 2 names of the laws that the government passed for the Progressives essay. But I knew what they did. So I just said, "The government gave..." Hope that works! Eeeek. :P And then I just went to the library during 5th period to finish up my logs and "study" for French oral. I think I did pretty ok on that. But I finished talking before she called the time so I'm not sure if that's a good thing. :(
But while the other people were doing the oral, Mojdeh and I were flipping thru Jon Jon's book on analyzing dreams. It was HILARIOUS!! We were supposed to be silent because the orals were done in the room. And we were trying to muffle our laughs. Everyone around us was curious. I showed them some of the stuff and they started to muffle-laugh too. Haha. Great word! One of the things was that if you dream that your skin is smooth then you'll have a good life and then if your skin is bumpy, red and pimpled then your life will be full of obstacles. What is THAT?? LOL! It wasn't funny per se. It was just funny because the analyses were cheesy. Mojdeh and I were just having fun. Meriem was listening to her CD so she wasn't in on the muffle-laughs. *muffled "haha"* :D
So I got home a while ago and was told that a cat has been in our backyard and front lawn trying to be friends. So I quickly followed Lynn into our backyard and there she was, meowing and looking at me curiously with her big green eyes!! So pretty! She looks like an American-Burmese cat but her hair is a little bit longer. But she has black stripes all over her body and she's gorgeous. All of us sisters LOVE cats but our mom doesn't so that's a problem when there's a cat around. We can't raise cats either so we just try to pet other people's cats. :( But I think this cat is a home-trained cat. She's so friendly and she looks like she's been living in a house. She must be lost or something. So we fed her some food and petted her. She loved it! She was purring and lying on the ground. She wanted to come into the house so we let her come in. She knew what she was doing so definitely a house cat! She stayed with us for a while but then we had to let her go cuz our mom was right upstairs and she would go balistic if she found out that a cat was in the house. *sniff sniff* So yeah...but she was so cute and pretty. :>
Well, I'll wrap this up. All my entries have been getting pretty long. I'm so talkative. *shaking head* Haha. So yeah, see ya! Tomorrow is Friday and it's gonna be fun! *wink*
