Hi guyz,
It's been a week since I last wrote in here. I've been soooo soooo busy!!! Seriously, I think this past week has been the worst of all school weeks! So much work and so little time. But I'm glad that has passed and we only have 2 more weeks of school left and I'm so psyched. I can't believe we're gonna be seniors. I just love that title. Hehe!!! So much authority, huh? :D Wow, senior privilege will be great and I can't wait for that but then it would be sad to leave all your friends and the school as well. Even though I hate school, there are some things that are a part of me now. *sniff sniff* Well, I'll leave that sentimental stuff for next year when it actually happens. But now, I just can't wait for the summer!!! It's gonna be a blast!
This week has been really hectic. I didn't even have time to relax. It was work after work after work. It was crazy. And I still have to take the SAT IIs tomorrow. Physics, Writing and Math. So that will be fun. Argh! :P And I'm so not prepared for it as well. And my brain is so stressed out right now. So it's a good thing to write in here. It's a way to de-stress myself! And plus, Lynn, Wynn and Aye had gone shopping without me! Boohoo!! *sniff sniff* They want me to "study" for the SATs. BOO! Haha...
So yeah, we got our yearbooks this week!!! They've finally arrived and it looks really good. It's all in color this year and that makes it even better. The yearbook signing has begun and so much to write about this past year. You know, I never realized how much stuff has happened in this past year. I thought it went by very quickly even though we couldn't wait for the time to go faster. But then again, a lot of stuff happened that seem like ages ago. And of course, Ali wrote 2 pgs in her teeny handwriting. But it was all good. I think right now, she ranks as first in "best yearbook signing!" Haha. It's true. I couldn't help stop smiling while I was reading it in French. I'm sure people thought I had gone crazy. But oh well...*wink*
I got back my Bio test grade as well along with the quarter grade today. I can't believe it! I got 77/54 on the test!!! YAY!! Dr. Khan gave us 25 extra credit questions because all the Bio tests are so hard and she made this one easy. Love you, Dr. Khan!! And it was to label the names of the plant structures, inside the roots and flowers and all that good stuff. This one was a botany test. And I had studied all that and got them all right! And the short paragraphs that I wasn't sure about (I felt I needed to add more info) turned out to be all correct!! I'm esctatic! All the studying paid off! And my quarter grade is now 100.6%. How cool is that? So that made my day!!
Oh yeah, the HOA role-play of Cold War...that was fun. I didn't think it was gonna be that cool but it turned to be very interesting...haha. A lot of people were very enthusiastic about their characters and got dressed-up. Schuyler was Churchill and he was in a tux with a hat and a cane. Matt H. was Castro and he was dressed up in army pants and hat. I think Mark Gentry got the "best role-play outfit" award. He was Khruschev and he had a huge fur coat on and it was really funny!! All the other people were in formal attire as well. The discussion/debate got really serious for some people. Schuyler! *wink* Haha. But at our table, we were all bashing Meriem who was Mao Zedong. She defended herself well though. "I OWN China!" Hahaha...good times!
So Ali gave me a ride home and we got to talk. A grand conversation indeed. She stayed for a while before she had to go to Stenwood E.S. for her tutoring. (She tutors this 6th grader how to play flute.) We had a blast just chit-chatting. We haven't done that yet this week so that was good. Haha...yup! Girls! Talk talk talk!!! Hey! *pout*
So today has been genuinely good. I'm loving the weather. It's around 70s today. That's why I got dressed up! Hehe. *wink* And it's Friday!!! There's nothing better than a beautiful Friday. Well, there are but I'm just making a statement. So don't argue with moi! :P Ohh...haha...one more thing to talk about. That "moi" reminded me about French class today. So yeah...we were all dozing off while Mdm. Desmarias read the articles and someone started laughing. We all looked up to see what it was and there was someone climbing on a tree outside our class. :O We are on the 2nd floor so it was really weird to see someone right outside the window climbing the tree steadily. Haha...it was SO weird. Mdm. D. called the administration and they got the situation under control, I guess. I'm not really sure what happened to that guy. *shaking head* BUT he did bring us out of our sleep. That was FUNNY! :)
Well, the time has come for me to leave again. But I must tell you that "I'll be back." Haha. I'm in a very good mood right now. Must be the weather and the good things. But tonight, I must look over some stuff for SATs. Good luck to anyone who's taking it tomorrow with me. I'll probably see you. Well, peace.

Then you look at me,
And I always see,
What I have been searching for...
I'm lost as can be,
Then you look at me,
And I am not lost anymore... ~Celine "Then You Look At Me" |
