Hooray!

PROM!!! Finally! I have been waiting for it for so long and last night was great! I had so much fun. Everyone looked amazing. All the girls were elegant, sexy and beautiful. And all the guys were clean-cut and stunning. It's nice to see everyone dressed up like that. That was really nice.
Well, so yesterday Julia, Meriem, Yoo-Mi, and I met at Ali's house. Ali solved her problem about the ticket so she could go. Whew! But anyway. Carolina wasn't there yet. She got back home from the Ragata 10 minutes before we were supposed to meet at 5. Ali's mom went to pick her up and we all went to That's Amore restaurant in Vienna. It was fun. We got there around 5:40 and it was pretty empty. So we ordered our food and chatted. It was great to talk. We haven't had a chance for all of us to talk together for a while and it was really nice to catch up on things. And the food was amazing. I love Italian food.
So we finished around 7 and were just about to leave when we saw people in gowns and tux coming in. We looked and saw that it was Sylvie's group. They had just came in for dinner. It was great cuz we thought they were going somewhere else. Our group wasn't dressed yet. We were just in formal blouses and skirts. And it got us really excited to see the others all dressed up. So we rushed back to Ali's and quickly changed. The cringes in my hair had came out during dinner and I was complaining and all the girls were reassuring me that they will do it for me. So they all worked on my hair and it was even better than before. I loved it. Thanks, girls! ;D It sure is nice to be a girl. It was like a big dress-up party. We had such a great time.
We had a snack party as well. Ali's mom had put out cookies, strawberries and apple cider out. So we ate that after we had all dressed up. And took some photos, being supermodels, of course!!! LOL. It reminded me of Lindz's birthday party at Bullfeathers last year. There were 12 girls altogether. We were all dressed up and we got out of the limo and we walked into the restaurant and we were turning heads! Haha...:) That was nice. It's nice being a girl! *wink* Lol. Sorry guys! ;P
But anyway, we left around 9:45 and got there pretty quickly. It was raining and cold and that was bad. I was hoping for the whole week that the weather would be nice but it wasn't and I wasn't too happy about walking in puddles with a floor-length dress. :( But we went inside and nobody was dancing. There were 3 rooms, 2 on the side were for chilling and for eating. They were both brightly lit. And the one in the middle was for dancing. A lot of people were in the "chill" room. HAHA. I don't know where they got that name! Anyway, so we went in and we quickly talked to some people and commented on their dresses and such and then we dragged them out onto the dance floor and got the party started!! And it was a success. Within minutes, a lot of people were dancing. So that was pretty cool. Well, what can I say? A party isn't a party unless I'm there! LOL. *wink* Well, I LOVE dancing!!
So we danced the whole time, apart from those in-between breaks for our feet. Dancing on 4-in. heels for 4 hours is not good! :D But it was fun. I had a lot of fun.
Taylor (I dont' know if you guys know him. His name is Taylor Jones and he's a senior. A classmate of mine from Physics.) taught me how to move my hands with glowsticks too and I got to say, I was pretty good! *gloating* Haha. But he was A LOT better at it than I was. He was doing all the tricks so it was nice to watch him do all that. Schuyler was also showing off on the piano. He is really good at it too. He was being humble too when Meriem commented on how well he plays. He said he hasn't played it in 9 years and we all know that's a lie. He plays it everyday!! Come on, Sky! If you want to lie, make sure the people around you don't know you!! Haha...:P
Prom ended at 1am so we prepared to head home. We weren't up for anything afterwards. Loren was gonna have a post-party but later decided not to. We were all soo tired and all we wanted was to go home and sleep. Haha...nice plan! *wink* So Ali's mom sent me home and Aye was still up when I got home so we talked while I had some munchies. Hehe. :D And then it was time for bed and we had to stop the chit-chat. But the whole evening was TONS of fun! I had a great time! I love dancing and I haven't danced like that since Winter Ball and that was about 4 months ago! So I loved it! :)
Well, the fun is over now and the workload has started. I'm sad but it's just this week that I'll have to work really hard and then it'll be SOLs and that'll be an easy week. So I would like to apologize in advance if I don't see you or talk to you this week cuz I'm gonna be really busy. I don't think I'm going to be writing in here either so this could be the last lonngggg entry for about a week or so. And Lynn, my eldest sister, is coming back tomorrow afternoon so it's gonna be so hectic around here. Well, that's all I want to say for now. Hope I'll be still alive next week this time. HAHA. "It's time to go to work y'all. What kind of work? Hard work!" I got to credit this quote to Backstreet Boys in their All Access Video. Hehe. :D Well, got to go!
