Wow, it's only been a week and such crazy things have happened!!! I'd say this has been a pretty good week! :D Despite a research paper and an exam, it's still pretty good. I'm kinda glad this week is almost over though. I can't wait for this weekend!!! *wink* And then in about a week, it'd be Thanksgiving break! Can't wait to see all of you guys. I talked to Sylvie the other night though and she's not coming back till December. :( I told her we'll all call her while we hang out! She was excited about that. I miss her. I haven't seen her since that first or second week of August. But she seems to be enjoying life in New Mexico. I'm happy to hear that. Well, let me tell you how my week has been.
So Friday night...I wanted to go to this semi-formal dance, the Charity Ball, but I couldn't find anybody to go with. Anna and Eric went up to Penn State for the weekend and Emily was too tired from all her crazy crew practices. So I gave up on the idea and ended up watching Chicago with Emily and Colin and ordered in. That movie was a little crazy. Artistic but a little weird. I liked the performances but the story was a little off for me. I have to say, Renee Zelwegger is soooo sexy! Haha. She just knows how to work it! I can't wait for Bridget Jone's 2 to come out. Colin Firth and Hugh Grant are in it too. Who can resist?? But I hear that Renee is actually taking a break after this movie. Ahhh! But anyway, back on topic...so we watched that movie and I still felt sick so I just read a magazine and got cozy and slept early, which was 1am!! LOL. Yeah, that's pretty early for a Friday night. It was definitely nice sleeping though.
Saturday was just crazy!! Pretty much during the day, nothing happened. Just regular chores and doing this and that. That night was pretty crazy. Oh, my sisters and I also signed our parents up for AIM and we had a family chat which was a lot of fun! My parents are so cute!! *wink* So yeah, after that family chit-chat, a group of went to this small play which was done by one of the residence halls at Foggy Bottom. It's called "Psycho Beach Party" and one of our friends was in it so we went to support him. He was playing a gay guy and he was just hilarious. It was definitely wack and totally funny. There were some inappropriate sexual dialogues and there were adults and old people there too so I was kinda embarrassed. But it was definitely funny. It was about this girl who has multiple-personality disorder. The ending was not too good but the whole play was pretty good. So afterwards, Emily, her friend from Ohio - Allison, Diana and I walked down to Tequila Beach. I haven't gone clubbing for so long! I was definitely excited. Emily also called some other people, Sarah and her roommate, Carrie (which I didn't know before but she was one of my orientation buddy! It was a nice surprise.) We got there pretty early. It was only around 11pm. Only a few girls were on the dance floor. We waited for a while for it to get a little more busy and pretty soon we were taking over the dance floor. The music was as usual awesome! And Hot 99.5 was there too so that was fun. There were, of course, some creepy guys there and the bouncers really helped out. A lot of interesting things happened later which I'm not gonna write in here. Ask me about it and maybe I'll tell you! *wink* :P It was really hot in there and we were dripping with sweat by the time we left. It was still kinda early but Emily had to get up early the next morning so we left around 1. We smelled so bad afterwards cuz the place was filled with cigarette smoke. I hope they ban smoking inside the clubs soon. I hate how lots of people smoke in there. And some people have alcohol in one hand and cigarette in another and are dancing so close to you. It's always packed in there!! Well, it is one of the nice clubs. I still haven't been to this really nice club called Dream which is about 4 stories high and is soooo hot! They only let 21 yr-olds in on Friday and Saturday nights. And I can't really go on Thursday nights when they do let 18 and over in cuz I have an early class the next day. (I just realized how long my train-of-thought can be!! I can't believe you guys are still reading these long long entries! *shaking head* I'm CRAZY!! :P) So anyway, I stinked. My coat was all smoky and my hair was a mess. I hated it but it was an awesome night! :D
Sunday was very relaxing. Such a beautiful day!!!! I was reading outside for like 2 hours under the sun and I loved the sun! We had bbq too and I just chilled. Lovely. *in a British accent* Haha..."I drink tea everyday as much as Earl Grey." Hehe. That just popped into my head. Sigh...memories...ANYWAY, lol, this week went by pretty quickly. Last night was a good one! I had a little trouble with my fetal pig in Bio lab though. Couldn't find the parts for the longest time!! I miss Ify, my best Bio lab partner ever!!!! Our pig was a little messed up and lots of brown gunk inside. Eek! So after I got back, we went to get some free food at the Pub which turned out to be really nice. :D Just old stuff happening!!! Hehe. *wink* Afterwards, we were just going around the dorm doing fun stuff and then Anna gave another Cosmo talk. Haha. And Eric is always there to learn! :P Hilarious. It was a memorable night. Oh, one more thing, we had such good cardio, butt, legs and abs workout yesterday in kickboxing. I felt sooo good afterwards. Now, my abs hurt but I'm feeling good. I love that class! If it weren't for it, I would have gained like 30lbs with the way that I'm eating!! LOL. What can I say? I LOVE food! :P
Yay, 20 more minutes and O.C. will be on. I hope Ryan cut his hair!! And then after that wonderful hour, I have to work on my research paper. Haha...I procrastinated till the last night! It should be easy. It's just 5 pages, double-spaced and I already have things worked out in my mind. So that shouldn't take long...hopefully!! Oh, well, if not, I can stay up, right? Tomorrow's FRIDAY!! Yay! And Saturday is just a day away. Haha...I'm glad I figured THAT out!!!! Well, what can I say? I'm just in a very good mood right now and I hope nothing spoils it.
