Plan Overview

In February, 2007, after months of planning and raising funds, we will finally make our way to China!
We will fly from Edinburgh on the 13th February to Heathrow, London, where we will then fly all the way to Moscow the next day. After a few days in Moscow we will board the Trans-Manchurian Express all the way toBeijing,where we will stay and explore for a few days. Then on to Yantai the town we will be teaching English in.
We will teach English for 3 months, combined with trips around the area.
Around the end of May our placement will end, and we will head to Tai-shan staying for a night. Then we catch the train to Xi'an where we'll stay for 2 nights, before catching another train to Shanghai. We will stay in Shanghai for a night or so before taking the 24 hour train to Hong Kong ,staying for 3 nights before flying to Osaka.
We then travel to Kyoto, where we will stay and explore for 4 days.
Then we shall make our way to Tokyo, where we will spend a further 3 days.
Finally we set for home on June 15th 2007 after 4 months of varying experiences!
