Phantom Scrabble
A couple of months after Kathy's Uncle Brian died we felt as though he was with
us and we were right. One night as we were playing scrabble Kathy had made the
word brain I saw it, she saw it but when she went to put it on the board it
said Brian, as soon as we acknowledged this the light started to flicker on and
off.
We knew that there was something wrong but didn't know where. So we said a
prayer to protect who ever it was. As it turned out Kathy's daughter was trying
to kill herself at the moment that all this was happening.
Kathy writes: "Sometime in the winter of whatever year, both of my kids were
missing. Eileen and Myself were waiting for the police to call or someone else
to call and say that something had happened to them. We decided to play
scrabble. While Eileen was in the bathroom I was getting the scrabble game.
I had the scrabble game in my hand walking around the corner, and all of a
sudden I heard someone knocking on the inside of the door. It startled me. I
did a complete turn around and went in to the washroom with Eileen.
The look on Eileen's face when I walked in the washroom was what the hell are
you doing in here. It wasn't so much that I was in the bathroom with her it was
the look on my face that she had noticed, fear. I said 'Eileen someone is at
the door', she said 'well answer it'. I told her it was on the inside door of
the kitchen. And again she said 'so answer it'. I told her 'no I have to brush
my teeth'. So I brushed my teeth and then decided to make my bed.
Eileen thought I was answering the door, I was in the bedroom when she entered
the room she brought it to my attention the dogs did not bark when I heard the
knocking. Naturally no one of this world was at the door. We knew there was
something happening somewhere and it had to do with my kids."
As it turns out her son was in trouble again.
