Age 19
I have a friend named Ken Osbourn. He and I had a very unusual experience.
Unusual because he was out west (found out where it was from Ken) and I was in
Hamilton, Ontario.
I was in my bedroom on Steven Street in Hamilton trying to sleep, I had worked
late hours. (checked what time of year it was)
I was lying there almost asleep in between half awake and half asleep when all
of a sudden I was sitting in a truck, the drivers side door was open I saw Ken
walking towards a huge pipe. All of a sudden I knew the pipe was going to blow
up, I started to yell his name at the top of my lungs, suddenly he turned
around like he had heard me and started walking towards the truck. Just as he
got to the truck the pipe blew up behind him.
I didn't just wake up, I woke up and sat up, I was very upset by what I had
just experienced but there was nothing I could do. I didn't know where he was,
all I knew was he was out west.
About a year and a half later I saw Ken again and I asked him if he'd had any
accidents while he had been away. He said yes, he was kind of surprised that I
had not heard about it as it was all over the news when it happened.
He asked me why and I told him what I had experienced. And this is what he told
me - he was some sort of gopher for the pipe line, he would run and get tools
or whatever they needed. He had just finished doing one of these gopher jobs
and he got out of the truck started to walk away from the truck when he heard a
voice he could not make out what it was saying. He thought he had left the
radio on so he was coming back to the truck, he got just to the door and the
pipe line blew and knocked him out(get details from Ken did the door close on
his legs was the radio on).
I have talked to Ken and he really can't remember anything, except the voice.
So I will have to go to the newspapers in Calgary for research it.
