Eileen, who uses the pseudonym of Eileena, was born in San German, Puerto Rico, where she obtained a BA in Plastic Arts, determined to develop her distinctive style professionally. Since 1997 she has been working on the concept functional art, principal motivation to transform everyday objects into exiting art pieces. Her creations include an array of painting, hand crafted iron furniture, jewelry, handbags, and woodcarving. Her passion for contrasting colors, create a bold statement in her works and a lasting impression on her customers and exhibit audiences. Her works are in public and private collections throughout Puerto Rico and United States. The intention of her art is to brighten the environment of those who own her creations. Eileen art is an extension of her life: Her followers all say that they are drawn to her paintings because of the strong impressions they infuse. Her form of art has been categorized as expressionist . Eileen also paints contemporary modern abstracts,florals, and still lifes. In all her creations is an exuberant use of extremely intense and brilliant color.
